Salling Search is recruiting a Senior Accountant & Corporate Secretary for an international industrial products manufacturer. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable:

• Process and authorize invoices, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Reconcile shipping liabilities and resolve discrepancies with operations.
• Maintain organized documentation for accurate record-keeping.
• Liaise with vendors to resolve invoice and payment issues.

Accounts Receivable:

• Generate and distribute customer invoices promptly.
• Manage receivables to maintain cash flow; accurately apply payments.
• Maintain documentation for audit readiness.
• Handle customer billing and payment inquiries.

Corporate Credit Cards:

• Reconcile transactions and ensure accurate coding.
• Manage digital documentation for audits and reporting.
• Assist cardholders with transaction queries and expense coding.

Banking:

• Monitor daily cash balances and manage electronic payments.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations.

Cash Flow Management:

• Maintain cash flow forecasts, focusing on working capital for shipments.

General Ledger:

• Prepare monthly profit and loss statements.
• Accurately record shipment receipts and costs.
• Manage prepayments and perform balance sheet reconciliations.

Fixed Assets:

• Maintain a fixed assets register and ensure accurate depreciation.

Audit Support:

• Assist the CFO during audits, providing necessary documentation.

Budgeting:

• Support budget preparation and financial reporting.

Corporate Secretary:

• Ensure compliance with local laws and maintain corporate records.
• Support board meetings with preparation and follow-ups.

Compliance & Regulatory:

• Manage tax obligations and liaise with external advisors.
• Monitor and implement changes in regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; Master’s/MBA is a plus.
• CA (Singapore) designation required; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• 5-8 years of accounting experience, with 3 years in a senior role.
• Experience in tax compliance and corporate secretary duties.
