· Assist to manage CP brand and outsourced brands' products portfolio

· Liaise with suppliers on new product developments including price negotiations, product specifications and packaging requirements.

· Engage new suppliers which aligns with company’s business directions for new product development or product partnership opportunities.

· To analyze market trends and propose suitable new product developments that would be beneficial to the company and customers.

· Liaise with local partners for product export opportunities to overseas branches.

· Conduct product / category performance reports and work on action plans together with sales and marketing team.

· Work with sales and marketing team on pricing, promotion, and marketing strategies for assigned products.

· Use a combination of internal and external data sources to identify gaps and opportunities of assigned product categories.

· Support new product launches, assist in marketing events.

· Support any ad-hoc activities assigned when required

The role will be reporting to the Assistant Product Manager under the Brand team.

Requirements:

Ø Candidate should possess at least a Diploma or relevant studies.

Ø Prior working experience in FMCG or related industries will be a bonus

Ø Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications, especially excel formula and reporting functions.

Job Summary

• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team to identify challenges in current monthly reports.
• Gather and document business requirements for SCM reports.
• Work with the IT analytics solution team to identify data sources and define the report structure.
• Compile data into reports and create presentations using Power BI.
• Provide support and guidance to users on report interfaces, conduct user acceptance testing, and assist with Go-Live support.
• Develop an understanding of the Demand and Supply Planning process.
• Lead the creation and development of SCM reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Handover the test completed functionalities to the test management team and release management team.

• Respond to inquiries on design etc. after the handover to other teams.

• Manage work progress during development period, including vendors’ tasks and issues occurred during design, development, and testing.

• Make suggestions proactively to improve productivity and maintainability. Share expertise by providing training and knowledge sharing sessions, contribute actively towards team development.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent fields

• Strong work experience in software development using Java EE technologies and Oracle Database

• Experience in working in a complex matrix organization

• Good knowledge in SDLC methodologies (waterfall)
