Postdoctoral Scientist position

A postdoctoral scientist position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Leslie Beh at IMCB.

The Beh lab seeks to develop cutting-edge CRISPR-Cas technologies to uncover the biological functions of RNA modifications. Dysregulation of these modifications has been linked to cancer, neurological disorders, and metabolic disease. We will determine the mechanisms by which RNA modifications and CRISPR-Cas systems operate by drawing upon diverse techniques, including protein engineering, biochemical reconstitution, genomics, and cell-based experiments. Successful applicants can expect close mentorship in a collaborative environment, with an emphasis on developing scientific knowledge and individual career goals. Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences / Biomedical Sciences
• Experience in biochemistry and/or structural biology, particularly in protein-RNA or protein-DNA interactions.

- Ensure proper and complete closure of all Materials Requisitions
- Support projects team and contracts dept in sourcing for specify materials and equipment

- Negotiate & secure best prices and payment terms with supplier
- Verify delivery order / invoice quantity and rate with Purchase Order
- Maintain and update the approved supplier list in accordance to company's ISO procedure

Requirement:-

- Diploma / Certificate in Purchasing Management

- Good in communication and negotiation skills

- Min 2 years relevant work experience, preferably in construction field

Responsibilities:

• Support business controller with common accounting tasks such as managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) including full set accounting practices.
• Ensure accurate and timely GST submissions and corporate income tax filings.
• Prepare financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest level of accuracy in all calculations and data management.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma holder with a strong foundation in accounting and with hands-on experience with the use of ERP / electronic accounting systems.
• 1-2 years working experience in a similar function.
• An ACCA qualification or familiarity with Variance Analysis Reports will be an advantage.
• Proficient IT knowledge, particularly in accounting software and systems.
• Proven ability to manage full set accounting tasks independently.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially in figure work.
• Good communication skills are required to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
