Business Need / Purpose of Role

Primary duties to oversee, plan and support the logistics team on daily transport related activities: freight clearances, deliveries/ pickups, First & Last mile for Ship spares in transit, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee, plan, and manage daily operations by organizing/ executing all transport related activities, which freight clearances- Airport/ Keppel Distripark, First/ Last mile for Marine Logistics and other local collections/ deliveries.
• Manage and supervise the driver’s performance to meet the organization’s expectation, by reviewing schedules and routings to ensure cost efficiency.
• Plan, allocate and deploy drivers/ vehicles and update the transport management system and checking of all inventories before delivery or when receipt in the warehouse.
• Solve operational problems encountered by drivers with clients and other related agencies by maintaining close interactions with all stakeholders to ensure a smooth day to day operations.
• Ensure full compliance with the ISS Management System (Health, Safety and Environment/ Quality compliance requirements)
• Any other duties within the scope and purpose of the job as requested by Line Manager and ensure full utilization of all ISS systems according to Standard Operating Procedures

Education and Qualifications

• Knowledge of local Logistics processes and understanding of Freight clearance, Spare parts delivery in Ports/ Shipyards/ Cruise terminals and documentation (DN, Customs Permits, etc.)
• Analytical skills and attention to details.
• MS Office/ Excel
• Strong time management skills (works well with deadlines)
• Strong Communication skills,
• Ability to work well with others
• Effective problem-solving skills

Experience:

• Experience working in logistics preferred, Diploma in Logistics Management or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Logistics/Warehouse/Supply Chain
• Do possess Class 3 & 4 driving and Forklift licenses.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and long hours.

Job Scope:

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostic & repair/service of vending machines, payment systems and equipment in the field.
• Perform set-up, programming & testing of newly installed H/C Cup vending machines in the field.
• Perform refrigeration/compressor, ice maker modular replacements in the field if required.
• Perform preventive maintenance, PM-QC for H/C Cup vending machines when instructed.
• Support Workshop Technicians on repairs when needed & situation requires.
• Assist with shifting of vending machines in the field as & when necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness of assigned company vehicle & ensure proper maintenance or servicing are carried out when they are due.
• Ensure company vehicle, Tools and equipment issued are accountable, properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Ensure required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) are worn and strictly follow safety rules/guidelines of our customers.
• Assist with minor facility repair work like electrical/plumbing/aircon servicing when required.
• Willing to work overtime if there is an urgent need/requirement. i.e. tender fulfilment, special project or urgent breakdown of vending machine.
• Assist Field Technical Supervisor & ensure that the Field Technical Team are operating in an efficient and effective manner. All customer complaint requests must be executed & fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Stand-in/Cover for Field Technical Supervisor during his absence.
• Train/Teach new Technicians (OTJ) to install, trouble-shoot, repair & service Vending machines, payment systems and equipment.
• Assist Field Technical Supervisor & ensure that the Field Technicians follow & comply with all WSH regulations & SOPs.
• Assist Workshop Supervisor with spare parts sourcing/searching from pending scrap Vending machines. Carry out testing with these used parts for vending machine troubleshooting/ recovery in the field.
• Assist to inform Workshop Supervisor/Manager when any spare parts/ sundry items require re-ordering.
• Assist Field Technical Supervisor & ensure that all Field Technicians sign-out and record drawing-out of spare parts/ sundry items from the engineering store in a proper manner. Vending machine asset number and purpose must be provided/recorded.
• Assist Technical Director/Manager with any new vending projects.
• Assist with any Ad-Hoc duties assigned by Department Supervisor/Manager/Directors.
