Job Purpose

Provide planning, development, and implementation of outreach activities and initiatives aimed at building up the national donor pool for the National Blood Programme.

Working in close partnership with the key stakeholders from Blood Services Group (BSC) and Singapore Red Cross (SRC), the incumbent will engage educational institutes, corporate, government, and company organisations through outreach activities and initiatives.

· Ensuring all the works to conform to the Specifications, Works sequence and methods of construction.

· Identifying nonconformities and reporting them to the Construction Manager and Quality Management Representative.

· Supervising the field construction works including safety arrangements.

· Coordinate with Site Engineers of the subcontractors’ works.

· Carrying out or attending inspections and monitoring the progress of the works.

· Handling Engineering matters including work procedures and shop drawings.

· Managing the subcontractors and workers.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:-

· Minimum 10 years of relevant experience after obtaining a Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE board, or other qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer or Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance by the Engineer and minimum 5 years of experience in the construction supervision of major underground structures of a similar nature.

Roles & Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not limited to):

Client and relationship:

· Act as a point of contact for the clients on their day to day affairs, with supervision where necessary, and ensure that all communication, whether written or spoken in a professional manner;
