Regional Account Manager (Remote)

Full time, Singapore (will require attending meetings one to five times per month in our office)

As a Regional Program Manager, you are responsible for managing a single client account or portfolio of global account(s), including, but not limited to, client retention, contract negotiation, implementation, business consolidation, sales of products and services, financials, business planning, and reviews, establishing relationships with key decision makers in multiple regions, and staff development. As a Regional Account Manager, you will

• Ensure 100% client retention and account profitability

Key Account Manager (Ocean Freight)
Basic Salary: $5,000 – $6,000 per month (depending the working experience)
Working hour: Mon to Fri 8:30am to 6pm
Working Location: Changi Airfreight Centre

Job Scope:

You will report to the Branch Manager and will lead a team of ocean freight personnel.

• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the ocean freight department and resolve any operational-related problem.
• Lead and supervise the Ocean operation team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain relationships with shipping lines, port operators, and other key stakeholders.
• Negotiate pricing, services and terms with the approved vendors and co-loaders, to max monthly Ocean GP.
• Coordinate and negotiate with other company oversea stations.
• Participate in existing and new RFQ or any bidding projects when need.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes affecting ocean freight operations.
• Prepare reports and analyses on department performance for upper management.
• Ensure compliance with all international trade and shipping regulations.
• Support Ocean Business Development and Trade Lane Management.
• Other assignments by management if any.

Requirements:

• Tertiary Education, with freight forwarding (FCL/LCL) experience
• Minimum 5-10 years work-related experience in Ocean Freight Procurement.
• Experience in Tariff management and Tender management
• With Team Leader experience
