We operate globally aligned to the follow-the-sun operating model of the FX & STIR business, within Derivatives & Solutions in Global Markets, which trades a wide range of FX and STIR products across G11, Emerging Markets and Precious Metal currencies. We also support electronic FX desks such as eFX and the Central Risk Book in Derivatives & Solutions as well as FX Prime Brokerage organizationally in Financing within Global Markets. Our team focuses on ensuring that the business operates effectively and efficiently to manage risks, and is enabled to maximize profits while being compliant with regulations, policies and procedures.

Your expertise:

• Background or direct experience in the FX markets
• Knowledge of FX and STIR products, front to back processes, and dependencies in a large trading business including electronic trading
• Ability to communicate and work with stakeholders and team members across all areas of the bank and of various levels of seniority
• Good at building networks of contacts across the business, logistics and control functions
• Ability to understand new issues and processes quickly and determine priorities and solutions based on business need and benefit
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills; proficiency in excel, power point
• Comfortable working independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
• Strong focus, drive and commitment, and track record in getting jobs done on time and to a high standard (a commercial ‘can-do’ approach)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects focused on remittance operations applications.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across multiple countries to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions, as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance project team environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in IT project management, specifically in remittance operations applications.
• Proven record of successfully delivering multi-country projects.
• Strong understanding of remittance operations and related financial services.
• Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and people skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.

• Must have experienced working with Remittance & Money Transfer Software: Manages the transfer of funds, often across international borders, between companies, and between companies and their customers. It simplifies sending and receiving money by providing effective, user-friendly, and safe platforms for both senders and receivers.

• Design, implement, test, and deploy end-to-end software solutions in theT&O-MOT-LCS domain with the following key responsibilities
• Work closely and communicate effectively and independently with project managers, business analysts, development leads, test engineers, infrastructure engineers and business users
• Participate in the analysis and requirements gathering phase and help to translate requirements into technical solutions that meet client needs and expectations
• Debug issues, fix bugs, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot the application and provide third level support
• Build, package and release software artifacts in an automated way to all environments including production
• Be responsible for the performance, stability, reliability, and security of the application
• Proactively identify efficiency and design improvements to existing systems and processes
• Min 12+ years of technology delivery experience in software development
• Hands on experience in at least one server-side object-oriented programming language
• Experience using source code control systems and branching strategies including with hands on experience branching, merging, and releasing
• Experience with a major relational database system
• Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, architectural styles, and API designs
• Hands-on experience with JAVA (Spring, Springboot) in a Unix/ Linux environment
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL, NoSQL, MariaDB or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of software best practices, like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI).
• Experience in CI-CD tools like Bitbucket Jenkins, Nexus, JIRA, confluence.
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in data ETL pipelines (including reconciliation and quality tools and techniques) an advantage
• Experience working in agile technology teams
