3. Understanding development objectives and value drivers of businesses, e.g. headquarters functions, centres of excellence, manufacturing and distribution activities, finance and treasury operations, intangible property, incentives, etc, and helping them achieve sustainability with the alignment of their tax and operating model. In addition, to also help strategise, plan and apply for research and development grants or deductions, incentives or other forms of government support, where required

Where mergers and acquisitions take place, advising companies and private equity investors on all tax aspects of their transactions - acquisition, disposal, refinancing, restructuring or initial public offering. And helping with negotiations throughout the transaction life cycle, from initial due diligence to post-deal implementation

Qualifications and skills

• A degree related to Accountancy / Finance / Tax / Business / Economics / Engineering / Information Technology; a CPA, CA or similar certification

Role Overview:

The Business Manager will be a critical member of the CAP Team, reporting directly to the Senior Director. He/she will work across all CAP projects, as an overall project manager, to co-design, organize, support, guide and review various inside-of-CAP processes (business processes improvement, knowledge management, project management), as well as liaise with other CFS teams, such as Business Operations/Finance and Tech, to ensure effective and efficient administrative, project, reporting and grantmaking processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

Job Description: As a Cloud Network Infrastructure Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing our cloud and network architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and resilient network and cloud architecture to support business requirements and ensure high availability
• Manage and optimize cloud networking components, including virtual networks, subnets, routing tables, load balancers, and gateways
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime
• Implement security measures and compliance controls to protect cloud-based assets and data, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations
• Develop and maintain documentation, diagrams, and procedures related to cloud network infrastructure

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud network infrastructure in a complex environment
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally Azure, with expertise in networking services and configurations
• Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) technologies and virtual networking concepts.
• Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, BGP, and DNS.
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices for securing cloud-based environments
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are a plus

Your background

• 12 years of overall experience with at least 5 years of Regulatory Reporting experience, coupled with managing a team
• Experience of regulatory reporting processes – ideally involving testing or quality assurance of regulatory reports
• Relevant experience in banking, operations, business controls or risk management, internal audit or compliance testing
• Understanding of Banking & Markets products, services, and platforms
• Experience in analyzing and documenting business processes, and developing solution
• Attention to detail and delivering high quality output
• Proven relationship management / engagement skills and ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with different audiences across multiple regions
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, plus knowledge of VB script

What you can expect

The role involves supporting various SPI initiatives which relate to Quality improvement, Ops excellence, and remediation of risk issues.

We are looking for an experienced associate to join the NFRR Global SPI (Single Process Inventory) team to drive Quality improvement and Risk remediation while working closely with the Report Preparers, Report Owners, and other stakeholders. The purpose is to drive delivery of a variety of projects (and issues remediation), some of which we are owners, while others require relationship building, influencing skills and the ability to maintain an independent perspective.

What you will do

1.Guide the team in the design and building of the Quality Assurance function for testing the Completeness, Accuracy and Timeliness of the NFRR report

2.Develop the strategy to align the NFRR function to the enterprise regulatory reporting policy

3.Ensure smooth implementation of the strategy and meeting the agreed timeline – which is usually very tight

4.Create and maintain relationships with Business, Operations, Technology, Audit, Compliance and other Control groups and Stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns pertaining to the challenges and risks

5.Keep abreast of the current regulatory reporting landscape to ensure the firm’s reporting control procedures remain in sync with changes in regulatory environment

6.Take ownership for managing risk well and be proactive in identifying and controlling risks, issues and concern, and escalate timely

7.Track and highlight issues, gaps, concerns and process failures and follow through until resolution or remediation

8.Present the key metrics and analytics on regulatory reporting issues and testing results to senior executives

9.Drive Operational Excellence by consistently striving to achieve responsible growth

10.Execute all the processes related to administrative tasks, and any ad-hoc duties assigned by manager
