As an SGInnovate partner company, we can offer a monthly S$3000 SGD in stipend under the SGI Summation program for undergraduates, more for masters, PhD students. The following tracks are available, you would probably be doing a couple of them up to your preference, with examples of what has been done by previous interns:

1. Mechanical experiments and design
   • Experiments - e.g. designing variations to the grout extruder to allow less waste and better reliability
   • Design - e.g. most of the upcoming v4 robot is being designed by interns with Jakub supervising them
2. Mechanical manufacturing, assembly and testing (only for R&D, our manufacturing is outsourced)
   • 3D printing - Slicing prints (often for multi-filament printing), managing and repairing printers (we have Tenlog TL-D3, TL-D5, Ender 3, Prusa i3)
   • Outsourcing manufacturing - specifying cabling, machining etc. to manufacturers
   • Machine tools - making some parts by hand when we need to quickly iterate
   • Assembly - putting in inserts, bolting parts together, waterproofing

   • Design - most of our PCBs have been designed by interns, aiming to minimise free wires in the robot, speed up assembly, allow easy modification where needed. Generally connecting all modules, controlling power, providing a physical user interface…
   • Experiments - e.g. sourcing and testing various motor and driver combinations to pick for our drive system
4. Electrical assembly (only for R&D, our manufacturing is outsourced)
   • Outsourcing production of cable assemblies and PCBs
   • Where necessary to make modifications - soldering PCBs, soldering power cables, crimping cables
5. Embedded programming
   • Writing object oriented C++ code
   • Keeping the code clean and maintainable

An Operations Engineer with liquid processing experience in the F&B sector, who will be responsible for providing operations support to strategic co-manufacturing partners and who will collaborate closely to implement innovative and continuous improvement initiatives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Project Management

• Lead projects involving new plant installations and continuous improvement.

SIA has multiple positions for junior and senior data scientists to drive our AI, data science and business analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Member of an in-house AI and data science development team that works on AI (including areas in generative AI, autonomous agent, NLP, computer vision and recommender system), mathematical optimization, game theory, and experimental design.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to create impactful and intelligent features/services in AI, data science and data analytics. Propose and build scalable ML/DL solutions. Deploy them as API microservices for use by software applications and business users for faster and more effective decision making.

EXPERIENCED NIGHT SHIFT DELIVERY DRIVER NEEDED

- Working hours : start from 8pm till next morning

- Class 3 driving license

- Deliver, load and unload frozen and fresh food

- Qualified Forklift Operator

- Able to lift 20 kgs cartons

- Educational Qualifications "O" Levels and above

- Parking and traffic violation penalties at driver's account

Job Description:

• Fabricate, assemble and install ship components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Weld ship components together using a variety of welding processes.
• Repair damaged ships.
• Cut and shape metal plates and beams.
• Operate power tools an machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Oversee the day to day activities of all shipbuiding and repair tradespeople.
• Monitor progress and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and is within budget.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
