Responsibilities

• Broad experience in programming, and implementing large distributed systems with microservices.
• Deep understanding of Application, Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability etc.
• Work with technical SMEs to understand their requirements and ensure these are met.
• Define best practices and standards for the microservice implementation.
• Lead activities to build accelerators and tools to increase the quality of deliverables.
• Evaluates industry technologies to shape design of services in consideration of cost, portability, compatibility, or usability factors.

Essential Requirements (Skills Requirements)

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of technical experience within architecture development, integration of backend systems and development. Strong Hands–on experience in developing applications using Java/J2EE, with Spring boot framework knowledge and experience.
• knowledge of SOA, Micro services, REST Services and Soap Services Development.
• Experience in core java fundamentals, Java 8+, Spring, Springboot, testing framework Junit, Cucumber.
• Strong hands-on clean code.
• Strong hands-on in Java Microservices (Springboot) Restful APIs and Soap Services.
• Experience with middleware/messaging technologies such as MQ, JMS, Kafka and exposure to event-driven design patterns.
• Experience with MSSQL, data modelling, query development and performance optimization

Technical / Professional Skills

Job Summary:

The Desktop Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the efficient operation of end-user devices, software, and peripherals. The role includes troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining desktops, laptops, and other IT hardware and Network

Work with the Global technology team to support Onsite Physical Installation of Server , Storage and Network devices .

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support:

o Provide first- and second-line support for hardware and software Installation.

o Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and peripheral problems to ensure minimal downtime.

o Respond to service requests and incidents in a timely manner.

2. Hardware & Software Management:

o Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop operating systems (Windows/Mac/Linux).

o Install and update software applications and drivers.

o Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions.

3. Asset Management:

o Manage IT inventory, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

o Ensure proper documentation and tracking of IT assets.

4. Network Support:

o Assist with basic network troubleshooting (e.g., connectivity, printer access).

o Support VPN, wireless, and LAN/WAN configurations as required.

5. Collaboration & Training:

o Work closely with other IT teams to resolve escalated issues.

o Provide user training for new hardware or software implementations.

6. Security & Compliance:

o Ensure devices are compliant with company security policies and standards.

o Conduct regular updates and patches to maintain system integrity.

Key Requirements:

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

· Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar desktop support or IT helpdesk role.

Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.

· Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365.

· Knowledge of basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).

· Experience with remote support tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or SCCM.

· Exposure to endpoint management tools like Intune or JAMF is a plus.

Soft Skills:

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
