About the Role

The Medical Writer and Analyst positions are ideal for those with experience in scientific research and for enthusiastic recent graduates in the sciences who are seeking the opportunity to be part of a growing team. You will be based in our Singapore office working in our Asia-Pacific team, as well as collaborating with colleagues from our UK and US teams.

Medical Writers and Analysts work on projects involving the detailed analysis of data from clinical trials and the assimilation and creative presentation of this analysis in different formats including posters, slide sets, value dossiers, reports and peer-reviewed publications. These deliverables are used directly by our clients in communication with external stakeholders instrumental to the successful uptake of novel therapies. You will work in project teams alongside experienced colleagues in both the Singapore UK and US offices who provide one-to-one training in the technical aspects of the role, including project management and effective client communication. • Market Access: Market access supports timely patient access to drugs and devices, involving the assessment of clinical efficacy and safety alongside costs to determine the value of a therapy within a specific disease area. Market access activities are targeted at a wide range of stakeholders who are instrumental to the successful funding and uptake of novel therapies, such as government bodies, payers, health technology appraisal (HTA) agencies, HCPs, and patients. Our Market Access team supports a wide range of clients in producing materials to demonstrate both the clinical and economic value of some of the newest, most innovative technologies in development. Our work is multidisciplinary, often beginning with evidence generation in the form of literature reviews, advisory boards with clinicians and payers, or economic modelling, to inform the development of materials that present an evidence-based account of the product’s value in a compelling and accessible manner.
  Analysts working across our Market Access services support a diverse range of value and access, HTA and health economics projects. These include developing product value messages and materials (e.g. brochures, slidesets, white papers, etc.), building health economic tools and models, and developing dossiers for submission to HTA agencies. • Evidence Development: Evidence-based medicine is the cornerstone of medical decision-making. The work of our Evidence Development team encompasses literature reviews, synthesis and real-world evidence generation.
  
  Our literature review and synthesis projects involve the identification of clinical, economic and real-world evidence to support the value of a pharmaceutical product or medical device. Our work includes rigorous systematic literature reviews that our Statisticians often use to conduct meta-analyses and network meta-analyses, therefore Analysts in this team work together with our Statisticians to provide seamless scientific and technical support to our clients. We also work on more creative and pragmatic evidence reviews to inform clients’ strategic decisions with regard to clinical development or market access. You will gain a thorough understanding of how to conduct various kinds of evidence review from searching to interpretation of statistical results and ensuring that the reviews conform to industry guidelines where applicable. About the Role

Project Coordinators are based in each of our scientific divisions and support with a wide range of administrative, project coordination and scientific tasks. These divisions are broadly described as Evidence Development, Medical Communications and Market Access. The Project Coordinator will be primarily based in our Evidence Development division, but will work cross-divisionally, giving them the opportunity to explore a wide variety of project types and responsibilities.

The responsibilities of the Project Coordinator role are varied. In a typical week, the majority of your time will be spent overseeing the delivery of scientific work to our clients in the healthcare sector, with responsibility for the smooth running of projects. This will include identifying and suggesting improvements to processes, as well as implementation of these changes, with the aim of enhancing quality and efficiency within the team and, where appropriate, across the wider company.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. To proactively plan and execute accounting, business support, compilation, and taxation jobs for an assigned portfolio of clients from various industries to ensure timely delivery of service.

2. To update team leader timely on job progress, discuss and consult on issues early to prevent delay in service delivery.

3. To work closely with client’s management personnel in providing accounting information to support their business decision making and giving value-adding advice.

4. To coach and develop junior team members in terms of technical skills and soft skills. This includes providing timely performance feedback to the team members. For bigger jobs, you will work together with the junior team members to expedite the delivery of the service to clients.

5. To meet prospective clients and identify opportunities for service improvement and development of clientele.

Job Summary:

The Director of Catering Sales is responsible for the operations and results of the Catering Sales department. This includes strategizing and leading the Catering Sales Team to achieve the budgeted revenue goals. Leading the team to provide our guests with specialized and personalized service for events and group accommodation management with responsibilities revolving around ensuring a smooth transition Pre-Sales to Post Event Phase. This can be achieved through effective account management and precise communication of event details to the Banquet Operations team. In addition, one of the key deliverables is to ensure optimum level of profitability achieved.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Meet or exceed individual and group catering sales target set by the management

2. Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Sales in evaluating current and potential markets/trends, coordinate all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume, maximizing the potential of function space and higher rates.

3. Maximize sales and upselling/cross-selling opportunities through soliciting new catering accounts and maintaining relationship with existing accounts

4. Building Successful Relationships that Generate Sales Opportunities (both internal and external)

5. Managing Sales Activities for the catering sales team (including sales calls, site inspection, telemarketing, generating proposals, agreements and follow up action)

6. To assist in the development and implementation of the annual business plan, by providing market and client feedback

7. Collaborate and communicate with the relevant departments to meet guests' requirements and to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is achieved

8. Timely and accuracy preparation of Group Resumes, Banquet Event Orders, Internal Reports and Billing

9. Drive Marriott Bonvoy membership to achieve the overall hotel goal

10. Participate in any trade events and projects being assigned on ad-hoc basis
