Main Responsibilities:

Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team, with a focus on supporting our operations in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the dental or healthcare industry, and be adept at managing legal issues across multiple jurisdictions within APAC. You will provide strategic legal advice, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support business activities to mitigate legal risks.

• Providing legal counsel on a wide range of matters including contracts, regulatory compliance, and business transactions within the APAC region. 

• Researching, advising and evaluating different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations 

• Advising on healthcare and dental industry-specific regulations and ensure the company adheres to all local legal requirements 

• Specifying internal governance policies and regularly monitoring compliance 

• Support cross-functional teams in navigating legal risks and provide solutions that align with business objectives. 

• Applying effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues 

• Reviewing, drafting and solidifying agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights 

• Dealing with complex matters with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally including external legal counsel as needed to address complex legal matters.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 2-3 years of being a legal advisor 

• Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in business environment, startups experience is an added advantage.

• Hands-on experience within the dental or healthcare industry 

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures, across APAC regions 

• Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation
