Responsibilties

• Supervise the safe execution of the works and maintain excellent site safety and housekeeping records.
• Check all relevant drawings and method statements to ensure that works are planned and carried out with compliance to safety regulations
• To review safety policies and procedures, the risk assessment during each phase of construction and present them to Safety Action Group. Conduct investigation on any safety infringement or accident on site and prepare safety reports.
• Ensure that all site excavation and hot works are executed with approved permits and full-time supervision.

• Conduct safety inspection of the worksite to look out for Foreign Object Debris (FOD), obstacles exceeding allowable height limits
• Inspect and ensure that all work activities and obstructions, machinery and vehicles are kept out of the minimum clearance distance from active runway, taxiway, and taxi lane at all times.
• Carrying out daily checks on the airside work sites, preparation of daily inspection reports, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience as a WSHC, of which at least three (3) years shall be in supervision of works similar in nature to major construction works
• Possess a WSQ Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or equivalent.
• Possess the Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSSC) certificate.
• Certification in “Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2)” or equivalent.

Beyond crafting words, phrases and sentences, a UX Writer on our team is also expected to immerse fully into the research, conceptualisation and iteration process of building digital experiences for a wide variety of users.

As a UX Writer, your day-to-day tasks may include working with the team to break large amounts of content into different parts of the user journey, planning out information hierarchy on a website, creating seamless communications as users navigate from page to page, or simply providing a clever turn of phrase to turn a complex situation into something simple, understandable and actionable on a digital space.

Most importantly, you will need to empathise with the (sometimes) duelling perspectives of both consumer and business objectives, applying a high level of critical thinking to create copy that marries the two.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to create meaningful digital experiences that achieve business objectives
• Develop and write clear, useful and meaningful copy for various digital interfaces including apps and websites, consistent with the brand voice
• Craft compelling microcopy for user interfaces to improve comprehension and engagement
• Work alongside UI/UX designers to ensure content, layout and design come together seamlessly
• Support a UX researcher in unpacking consumer insights, iterating on content in a data-driven process
• Present and defend your writing with a strong rationale

Job Requirements

• At least 3-6 years of relevant experience in either UX or copywriting OR relevant educational qualifications
• Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to adapt writing style to different audiences
• Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for details
• Ability to work and behave professionally in a fast-paced team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proactive in staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices in UX writing and content design
• A strong portfolio or writing samples showcasing your past work
