As a Senior Trade Executive, you will be responsible for managing cargo flow and implementing pricing strategies to optimize vessel utilization. This role supports ports in achieving their outbound and inbound targets, enhancing revenue, and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vessel Optimization: Support port teams in vessel allocation, ensuring optimal utilization for inbound and outbound cargo.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze vessel performance, load factors, and allocation to identify improvement actions.
• Operational Resolution: Address operational issues from a commercial perspective.
• Market Analysis: Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer developments to adjust strategies as needed.
• Pricing & Cost Analysis: Maintain pricing accuracy and analyze costs related to BCO, IFF, tenders, etc., to support revenue efficiency.
• Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including international freight forwarders and agencies.
• P&L and Feasibility Support: Assist the Trade Manager in performing simple P&L analysis, feasibility studies, and participating in business development initiatives.

Job Description:

• Provide detailed information about new and used vehicles, including specifications, features, and condition.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition, performance, and market value.
• Prepare accurate and compelling vehicle listings, including high-quality photographs and comprehensive descriptions.
• Showcase the features and benefits of each vehicle to potential partners
• Utilize various marketing channels to promote vehicles, including online platforms, social media, and print advertising

Responsibilities:

• Arrange export shipments to distributors/customers, including drop and export shipments.
• Prepare and handle commercial documentation such as invoices, delivery orders, and shipping documents using in-house systems like RPMS.
• Coordinate shipments and cargo collection with the warehouse department.
• Prepare necessary shipment certificates (e.g., SMF, COO, COQ).
• Prepare Letters of Credit for bank submission.
• Liaise with external vendors, including freight forwarders, clearing houses, third-party logistics providers, and delivery contractors.
• Process manual purchase orders and shipping instructions for vendors in regions including Japan, America, Europe, China, Indonesia, Thailand, and India.
