JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities (included but not limited to)

1. Work with, and report to SOCIAL F+B’s Global Principal on all projects run through SOCIAL F+B BY "DESIGN" (SOCIAL F+B) Singapore

2. Work with integrity and initiative to deliver client’s expectations at each stage of a project, working with current team & develop future team, by guiding each member to exceed their perception of what can be achieved on each project.

3. Conduct daily meetings with team members, in Singapore and Bangkok, to ensure that the design integrity is maintained, deliverable milestones are being met & that all team members are performing up to Social F+B’s and your high standard.

4. Together with Global Principal, share the fiscal responsibility for projects. This includes Full knowledge of the contractual obligations for each project: scope, schedule, budget, fee, payment schedule and terms & conditions; review and approval of all project invoices and authorization of all project related expenses, including travel.

5. Achieve maximum profitability on each project.

6. Review all project team members’ timesheets and maintain allocated time constraints.

7. Maintain professional relationships with all clients; seeking to improve the quality of their properties and win future work.

8. Mentor new staff members, training them in all office standards and procedures.

9. Inform Global Principal of all project and employee-related issue that require their immediate attention.

10. Participate in studio discussions that relate to project strategies, billing status, staffing requirements, business development and recruiting efforts.

11. Activity participates in the Business Development and Public Relations efforts of the firm whenever and wherever possible.

12. Participate in maintaining relationships with existing clients and nurture relationships with potential new clients.

13. Participate in the establishment and maintenance of design standards for the film.

14. Keep abreast of interior construction industry trends that may influence design scheme.

15. Travel for project when necessary.

Requirements:

Candidates should ideally possess the following:

1. A recognized Architecturel or Design qualification from an Internationally renowed Institution.
2. Minimium 10 years of F&B Design experience.
3. Has worked in a restaurant or behind a bar.
4. Passion to inspire and lead a team of talented F&B designers.
5. Excellent at presenting to clients.
6. Strong software skills, able to work independently as well as lead a team.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Balyasny Asset Management is seeking an experienced Senior Associate/ Director, Compliance for the Asia region. As the Senior Associate/ Director, Compliance, the employee will report to the firm’s Head of Asia Compliance and would be responsible for development, implementation, management, and oversight of the firm’s Compliance program in relation to its’ business in the Asia region. The responsibilities will include providing compliance counsel to investment staff on research and trading related matters and regulations adopted by the SFC, JFSA, KFB, MAS and others, maintain a strong compliance presence within, and provide compliance oversight for, the regional offices, assist with the review of marketing materials, complete and submit regulatory filings and conduct compliance training for local HK and Singapore staffs.

In the role of Senior Associate/ Director, Compliance, the employee will be responsible for, among others, the following:

• Provide direct support to the Head of Asia Compliance to manage the compliance priorities for the Asia region;
• Maintain a strong compliance presence within, and provide compliance oversight for all regional offices in Asia;
• Provide research and trading related compliance counsel to the investment staff in relation to day to day business matters;
• Assist with enforcing compliance policies as it applies to the firm’s Asia business on a day to day basis;
• Monitor regulatory developments and stay ahead of them to update compliance policies and procedures as required
• Educate investment and non-investment staff with regard to trading related compliance requirements on an ongoing basis;
• Assist with surveillance, testing and other key parts of the compliance program and forensic testing to satisfy ongoing compliance obligations;
• Keep track of industry leading compliance practices and adopt and implement such practices to continually enhance the firm’s compliance program;
• Complete and submit regulatory filings with local regulators in a timely and high quality manner;
• Escalate matters to the global Compliance leaders and the regional Business leaders as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

In order to effectively represent the Company and communicate with clients, the employee must be someone who has:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant compliance experience working for Fund Managers and/or Regulatory Bodies in Asia.
• Within this, minimum 3 years of compliance experience working at a multistrategy hedge fund.
• Broad set of responsibilities spanning investment compliance, business compliance, regulatory compliance and employee compliance.
• Strong familiarity with regulations related to insider trading, market manipulation and other forms of market misconduct.
• Experience communicating with regulators on behalf of the firm.
• Experience working on a variety of compliance software spanning employee requests, surveillance, archiving, analytics etc.
• Experience working closely with regional and global management teams.
• Experience managing a regional team of compliance officers.
• Bachelors Degree is a must. Masters Degree or CFA or other industry certifications are a plus.
