Business Functions Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank's risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. Job Purpose You will be pivotal in driving the Transformation Projects in RMG-RPA and implement state-of-the-art solutions. The role will give the candidate the unique opportunity to have exposure to the bank's regulatory models and processes that cover credit risk, macro/climate stress testing and even IFRS9 ECL. Responsibilities Drive and coordinate transformation projects within the Regulatory Portfolio Analytics team to improve productivity and make work more joyful, which will focus on streamlining of stress testing and other model/scorecard implementation processes for a start Review overall key regulatory processes and implementation of regulatory models and identify areas of improvement/optimisation/automation in current processes & workflows while ensuring robust controls/governance/documentation are in place Foster strong stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally, to deliver the projects on a timely basis and align transformation efforts with overall strategic goals, including continuous sharpening/ refinement of the methodology/ data, driving operational excellence through strengthening business tools/ dashboards, and tightening processes and governance. Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning and initiation to execution and tracking progress of the projects to meet milestones Ensure execution excellence by having an eye on details and by closely monitoring the project progress Identify potential risks to ensure timely action is taken to bridge gaps Encourage innovation to ensure we remain agile and adaptable in a rapidly changing business environment Monitor and evaluate transformation initiatives' impact, making data-driven improvement recommendation and enable seamless migration to new workflows/platforms Provide guidance and support to project teams, ensuring cohesive efforts towards transformative objectives Communicate program objectives, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment Requirements Proven track record in stakeholder management along with working across functions to drive collaboration, project success and achievement of KPIs Strong project management skills with experience in driving, planning and coordinating full project lifecycle for transformation projects in the banking industry Effective strategic planning and project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively. Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills to lead problem formulation, analytic approach and solution design Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to explain complex concepts with simplicity with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to work independently around tight deadlines in a dynamic and fast paced environment and yet possess strong team spirit Growth mindset - highly adaptable, self-starter, resilient, able to think strategically and out of the box. Expert problem solver who is able to work with ambiguity Highly numerate with keen eye for details and accuracy Good knowledge in technology and developing industry trends Technical aptitude, including understanding of data science concepts and tools (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Python) Understanding of Basel IRB models, Stress Testing and/ or IFRS9 models preferred Possess strong Microsoft office skills, especially Excel, Powerpoint and Project Experience in Programming (esp Spark, Python, SQL) will be preferred Experience with the use of Scrum methodology for project management, User requirements sharing/gathering and User Acceptance Testing will be an advantage.
