• Conduct statutory survey in accordance with international safety of life at sea (SOLAS) convention, Mobile Offshore Drilling Units (MODU) code, High-Speed Craft (HSC) code and the Merchant Shipping Acts.

Knowledge / Skill Requirements

• Technical knowledge in GMDSS & VDR/SVDR system.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Minimum two years relevant experience.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

a) Plan and monitor machining job according to project master plan issued by Project Engineer.

b) To oversee the operation of the Wire/Cut, EDM and Superdrill machineries.

c) Carry out machining job effectively and efficiently and meeting quality & delivery requirements.

d) To train, delegate and assign machinist to operate the machine to fully utilise the machine.

e) Carry out preventive maintenance of machinery as per preventive maintenance schedule.

f) Ensure 5S housekeeping and safety precautions are taken care at all times.

g) Comply with the quality & environmental management system requirements.

h) Any other related duties as and when required by the Tooling Manager.

Job Specifications/Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalents, ITC or Nitec Certificates

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in plastic tooling design

• Good knowledge in Engineering plastic properties

• Able to read 2D / 3D Drawing

• Able to operate Charmillie Form 200

• Skill in GF machines

• Able to work independently, responsible and diligent

• Must be willing to travel to Batam Site whenever required

• Must be able to work rotating day/night shift

Overview

The role will be part of the HR & Admin Department and is responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resource functions.

Responsibilities

· Reporting to HR Manager

· Support full spectrum of HR function (such as payroll, employee engagement/relations, compensation & benefits, learning & development)

· Responsible for employee lifecycle from on to off-boarding

· Be the subject matter expert for local employment legislation and provide advisory support for the business

· Manage statutory related matters such as pass application and government claims/grants

· Handled employee engagement/relations queries

· Maintain proper HR records including but not limited to benefits management and on & off-boarding

· Support in HR and organisational initiatives and activities

· Contribute in process improvement
