Responsibilities:

The Accessibility Services at Rainbow Centre aims to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities through effective therapy and psychological services so that they can achieve their highest level of independence and lead thriving lives.

The Associate Psychologist, working as part of an interdisciplinary team under close supervision of the Senior or Principal Psychologist, will be responsible for the delivery of quality psychological services and may work across a variety of settings at Rainbow Centre (early intervention, schools, out-of-school hours care and community outreach services etc).

Critical Work Functions

• Clinical Services
  Assessment (informal or standardised): Select, apply and interpret psychological assessment methods and tools appropriate to the individuals and groupsIntervention: Develop psychological formulations that are informed by theories and evidences about relevant individuals, systemic, cultural and biological factors
  Documentation: Integrate, organise and document the essential facts and observations of a case in a manner that is clear, coherent and in the best interest of the client
• Service Administration
  Data Management: Maintain and monitor client records related to service utilization in accordance to organisational and professional requirements.
  Resource Management: Maintain inventories of equipment, materials and supplies.
  Health & Safety: Ensure that the health and safety policy is adhered to and all equipment are properly and safely stored and maintained for safe use.
• Continuing Professional DevelopmentEngage in and articulate reflection and evaluation in practice, including evaluating the impact of contemporary issues related to the profession and sector.
  Remain up to date and compliant with all relevant legislation, organizational procedures, policies and professional codes of conduct in order to uphold standards of best practice.

Requirements

• Honours Degree in Psychology (at least Second Class Upper)
• Preferably enrolled in Master’s Programme in Educational/Clinical Psychology with a recognized university
• Working experience in a special education setting will be a definite advantage

The Speech Language Therapist provides high quality therapy and intervention programmes to enable students with special needs to reach the maximum potential and equip staff / caregivers with techniques that will enhance the student’s development.

The therapist, working as part of an interdisciplinary team, will be responsible for the delivery of quality therapy services and may work across a variety of settings at Rainbow Centre (early intervention, schools, out-of-school hours care and community outreach services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Providing quality clinical services to our clients

• Using appropriate assessment tools to obtain data to identify therapy needs in a variety of cases
• Formulating care plans that are outcome-based and relevant to the goals identified for the clients through planning, implementing, evaluating and managing interventions.
• Facilitating individual and group interventions and employing evidence-based psychological interventions, as well as applying the process of collaborative exploration in the management of caseloads to deliver effective services.
• Complete specialist reports, case notes and other documentation, following professional guidelines and guidelines required by the organization.
• Prioritising and managing a caseload under supervision in accordance with organisation policy. The postholder will also complete specialist reports, case notes and other documentation, following professional guidelines and guidelines required by the organization.
• Participating in developing protocols and clinical guidelines to improve services in conjunction with the Lead Allied Professional/Principal Therapist.

2. Supporting strategy and planning effort

• Engaging in and articulating reflection and evaluation in practice, including critically evaluating the impact of contemporary issues related to the profession and sector.
• Remaining up to date and compliant with all relevant legislation, organizational procedures, policies and professional codes of conduct in order to uphold standards of best practice.

Key Requirements

• Possess at least a Degree in Speech Language Therapy and eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
• Good communications skills to convey thoughts and ideas succinctly to various stakeholders, as well as to foster interdisciplinary collaboration to provide client-centric service and achieve best outcomes
• Prior working experience in a special education setting will be a strong advantage
• Able to handle the physical demands of the role, such as lifting clients and equipment

Responsibilities:

• Responding to and resolving Customer and internal stakeholder technical requests concerning relevant operation and maintenance matters of the GTCC Power Plant, making use of product technical knowledge, mechanical know-how of system components, and analytical skills while adhering to sound engineering principles, standards, practices and procedures.
• Communicating with and supporting the Customer to act on Technical Information notices to improve or upgrade the plant.
• Proactively identifying potential failures, assessing and controlling operational risks on the Power Train with support from the 24/7 remote monitoring hub and expert support
• Proactively advising and assisting the Customer in planning, coordination with MPW for the execution of relevant inspection and maintenance activities.
• Analyzing, tracking and reporting monthly Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) data and relevant KPIs for the LTSA, for the purposes of invoicing and for monitoring performance against the contractual guarantees and obligations. If necessary, recommend corrective actions.
• Reviewing and presenting the monthly monitoring diagnostic reports to the Customer.
• Reviewing and presenting the inspection findings and outage reports to the Customer.

Requirements:

• Previous site work experience in Long Term Service Agreements, plant commissioning, field service, and/or maintenance and overhaul of GTCC power plants or industrial plants rotating equipment is preferable
• Previous customer facing experience where there is regular interaction with plant personnel to provide troubleshooting support and to resolve problems
• Technical knowledge in GTCC operations and maintenance
