The Company

Our client is an established and leading player in the Chemical industry. Keen to hire a dedicated and proactive audit talent to manage Internal Audit, Governance and Risk Management.

The successful candidate is someone hands-on, able to implement processes and procedures, and comfortable working in a lean set up. This is the only headcount in Internal Audit.

Requirements

• Degree qualified, with preferably CIA qualification
• MUST: Internal Audit experience in Manufacturing/ Chemical industry
• Travel requirements: Ability to travel around once a quarter
• Important: The successful candidate should be someone mature, independent and hands-on, as this position is an individual contributor
• Desired traits: Team player, results-drive, resourceful, results-oriented, demonstrates stability in one’s career, ability to work in a lean set-up

Budget: S$9,000 – S$10,000 per month + Bonus

Job Scope

As an individual contributor reporting to the Managing Director and Audit Committee, you will support in spearheading the implementation of internal audit and risk frameworks and policies to align with company objectives. Your role involves managing governance, risk, and internal control assessments, preparing annual audit plan, and ensuring organizational integrity and efficiency. By meticulously auditing compliance with regulations and investigating variances, you will provide invaluable insights for continuous improvement. You will contribute to the development of key controls and guide risk assessments to enhance organizational resilience. Your involvement in business impact analysis will help identify potential threats, allowing proactive measures to be implemented. Through regular audits of the continuity process, you will ensure alignment with organizational goals and readiness to navigate disruptions effectively.

Our client is a global asset management and conglomerate, seeking for a Senior Manager, Consolidation & Reporting.

The Role

You will oversee and review segment consolidation while supporting the preparation of the Group’s financial and management reports in line with Group accounting policies. This includes collaborating closely with the business partnering team on segment reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, as well as working with centralized function owners on cost reporting. You will contribute to the preparation of SGX results announcements, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards, company law, SGX listing rules, and best practices, while also assisting with the Group’s annual report and consolidating forecasts and budgets. Additionally, you will support the Group Financial Reporting System, including implementing new systems, and liaise with external auditors and consultants on audits and corporate activities. As a leader, you will mentor the finance team, fostering high performance and professional development, while overseeing their training to ensure they are equipped to excel in their roles.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate holds a recognized degree in Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification, preferably as a Chartered Accountant (CA), with 10–12 years of relevant experience. This includes foundational years in a Big 4 audit firm, followed by commercial industry exposure. They possess a strong command of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International) and regulatory compliance requirements for listed companies. With proven leadership skills, they excel at managing and inspiring teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Known for their meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence in financial reporting, they also bring strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities, effectively managing priorities and workflows. Self-driven, proactive, and energetic, they are a team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a keen and analytical mind.
