Role Overview

You will lead the APAC business continuity programme, oversee crisis and event management, as well as the management of BCM systems and tools.

Support execution of the region’s facilities and significant business initiatives or projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the corporate wide business continuity program that addresses disaster recovery (DR), business recovery and emergency response management
• Lead the implementation of end-to-end business continuity programme activities and tests in the region to validate the recovery strategies of the businesses and functions on a regular basis
• Work with business functions and relevant stakeholders to conduct periodic business impact analysis, identify recovery requirements, develop and implement recovery plans in the event of a business disruption across the APAC region.
• Monitor and communicate potential threats that may impact operations or staff in the region
• Provide management support in the event of a business disruption to manage the response coordination and communications
• Develop and deliver BCM trainings and awareness program to stakeholders, and ensure completion of mandatory BCM training

Experience / Competences

Essential

Overview

How will you make an impact in this role?

• Relationship Management: Develop data tools & insights for the GCG Client Management Group in APAC to support renegotiations, business reviews and business development opportunities defending our Premium Value Proposition in an impactful way
• Business Development: Lead strategic partnerships with merchants in close collaboration with the Marketing team engaging existing & new partners to drive revenue growth through Amex Offers
• Consultative Selling: Build a pipeline of opportunities & deliver compelling Business Insights proposals to drive business growth
• Data & Insights: Own end-to-end insights project planning, delivery, and measurement. Transform raw data into insights led commercial presentations to executives at merchant partners & internal stakeholders.
• Data Product Development: Identification and creation of customized and automated data tools in close collaboration with the Global Merchant Analytics team

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong business development experience and/or partner management experience, including a track record of success in building new and nurturing existing relationships with internal and external clients that drive commercial outcomes
• Strategic thinker with a consultative sales approach
• Effective quantitative skills that enable the analysis of data sets and generation of actionable recommendations with measurable value
• Strong communication skills and executive presence with the ability to probe/diagnose merchant needs and propose real-time customized solutions across all levels of the organization, internally and externally
• Strong problem solving, project management, analytical and presentation skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize across a portfolio of clients and projects, with high attention to detail
• Ability to innovate and openly share insights and new ideas
• Advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, operations research, economics, engineering or equivalent preferred

Job Description:

• Plan and execute data centre migration
• Oversee procurement of new servers and network equipment
• Manage data migration and verification processes
• Set up new Server Room compliant with Green Book standards
• Migrate Wireless and Wired LAN, WirelessSG, and WAN migrations
• Minimise operational impact during transition
• Ensure compliance with security and industry standards
• Any other services to be assigned in relation to IT setup and support.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in ICT Project Management / IT Infrastructure Projects, particularly Data Centre relocations
• Strong knowledge of data centre operations and network infrastructure, servers
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) preferred
• Familiarity with Green Book standards for server rooms
• Excellent project management skills
• Experience with risk management and mitigation in IT projects
• Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
