We are seeking an experienced Account Manager who can develop and drive critical growth initiatives, both regionally and globally, in a complex, matrixed environment.  The ideal candidate will be a structured, experienced money-movement leader, an analytical thinker with excellent communication skills and possesses a strong drive to expand client transaction volume and revenue for assigned accounts.   The candidate enjoys variety and collaborating with people and excels at developing client relationships and expanding to additional influencers and buyers across the account.  The candidate is thoughtful, curious, and analytical with a desire to make an impact and contribute to the growth of the AP and Fintech Visa Direct business. 

This is a client-facing role so organizational savvy, interpersonal and negotiation skills are critical as he/she will interface with all areas of Visa (sales, marketing, pricing, legal, risk) and with executives from some of our largest clients. What we expect of you, day to day:

• Achieve and exceed account transaction and revenue targets for Visa Direct by client
  • Achieve annual performance goals and enablement milestones for Visa Direct (e.g. transaction and net revenue growth new endpoints, corridor expansion, or use cases)
  • Develop and actively manage client account plan to achieve financial targets and strategic priorities across all products (e.g.  direct to card, account and wallet, AFTs, VAS, etc..)
  • Develop and manage strategies for performance acceleration, including high potential use cases, marketing strategies and growth opportunities
• Sales pipeline development, up-sell, cross-sell endpoint options, routes / corridors, use cases and VAS across primary and extended client LOBs.
  • New / renew deal structure, incentives, negotiation and contracting
  • Manage and support clients through the sales cycle from opportunity identification, solutioning, and program launch, ramp, and optimization
• Established a trusted working relationship with the Client to ensure we have the necessary understanding of the client’s business and strategy and work across internal Visa and Visa Direct stakeholders to support and/or accelerate deliverables
  • Collaborate with the client Account Executive(s) to define account priorities and achieve the annual plan
  • Partner with Visa Direct cross-border commercialization team to develop the go-to-market strategy and ensure we have the right value proposition and product construct to meet client needs
  • Work with Marketing to ensure our client facing materials are excellent, on message and help accelerate the learning and launch process
  • Work with Finance and Leadership on forecasting and monthly/quarterly reporting

As a Senior Account Director, you will lead the work on some of the most popular consumer brands in the world, impacting the daily lives of nearly 2 billion people in the fastest growing region in the world. You will work for clients who not only care about success in the marketplace, but are passionate about the role of brands in helping bring about social change. The Account Director is responsible for seamless delivery on a client account including creation and communication of effective brand strategies, account staffing and oversight of all client relations and presentations; while providing active support and oversight to an Account Service team.

• Manages a number of key client relationships
• Acts as the first point of contact for client questions and requests

• Partners with Planners to develop and implement highly interactive strategic responses for brand’s business and communications needs
• Problem solves on high level account and production issues and knows when to involve their supervisor
• Generate accurate reports on the status of existing accounts and new business
• Leads presentations with clients
• Manages a budget and achieve targets
• Always on a look out for opportunities to cross-sell within the Groupe
• Manages and facilitates new business pitches when requested by Managing Director

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 9 to 12 years account management experience in a creative advertising agency
• Strong combination of being highly strategic in your counsel, and highly effective in your executions
• Ability to contribute to the strategic process, and lead strategic conversations on the brand with the client leadership team
• Capable of writing a thoughtful interactive communication strategy presentations, highlighting current trends in digital, media, technology and advertising that may be utilized to achieve a client’s business outcomes
• Able to effectively interpret and lead regarding measurement reporting, whether regarding standard or rich media advertising or social
• Rallies behind interactive briefs and pushes clients and creatives to explore new interactive projects
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment
• Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Strong financial understanding of budgeting, estimating and agency profitability
• A track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees
• Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail with exceptional initiative and follow through skills

Our client is a reputable board consultancy services company. We are currently sourcing on behalf of our client for an Events Registration Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Provide event registration consultancy, overall project registration and stakeholders’ management including event registration planning, management and execution
• Lead and guide assigned project team members to ensure smooth delivery of assigned projects/events including registration SOPs, training and documentations
• Provide event registration advice and solutions to stakeholders
• Manage the registration process to create a streamlined experience for invitees, including flights and hotel bookings
• Manage and provide timely registration reports, and Database management
• Work closely with project teams to collate, provide information, facilitate the planning and execution of the projects/events
• Responsible for successful delivery of the event, ensure smooth communication with partners, vendors and stakeholders
• Management of stakeholders and assigned team members, including overall resource planning of roles and responsibilities pre-event and onsite
• Timeline management and updates
• Source, evaluate, negotiate and manage third party vendors
• Post event database cleaning, updating, event registration, attendee reports, analysis and event compilation of sustainability data report

Requirements:

• Min 5 years event management experience
• Able to handle multiple projects and tasks
• Good project management skills
• Digital/ Hybrid event support
