Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with minimum 5 years experience in accounting and management
• Able to handle full set of accounts
• Proficient with MC Office especially Excel

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the proper application of accounting principles to complex transactions, and financial reporting, for our private equity clients. They will be accountable for a broad spectrum of financial, operational and accounting matters affecting our private equity clients.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Assistant Manager, Accounting based in our Singapore office. Reporting to the Team Leader, this full-time and permanent position is based in Singapore and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Business Services and its’ growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain and administer client’s accounts with a variety of monthly/quarterly/yearly bookkeeping, monthly payroll, MAS reporting, GST reporting and payment administration.
• Preparation of clients’ deliverables (i.e. monthly/quarterly/yearly management accounts, reporting packages, schedules, GST registration, MAS and GST Returns, consolidation, and drafting of year-end SFRS financial statements with Director’s Report).
• Assist clients with accounting, payroll, MAS and GST related issues.
• Mentor and review work done by Associates.
• Any ad-hoc internal assignments.

Key requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy, Degree in Accounting or ISCA/ACCA/other equivalent professional qualifications.
• At least 5-6 years of working experience in handling full set of accounts, GST and payroll processing.
• Work experience (Audit or Business Outsourcing) in a Singapore CPA firm would be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• A team player who has a can-do attitude with strong initiative & credibility, pay attention to details, thrives in a fast-growing organization and work to meet tight deadlines.
• Resilient and able to work independently to organize and prioritise work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing bank reconciliation, expense reconciliation, monthly breakdown of balance sheet items and other management reports required by management.
• Tracking of Account Payables and Account Receivables.
• Ensure compliance with audit, statutory and tax requirements.
• Assist in handling tax compliance and tax efficiency initiatives.
• Handle payroll administration, CPF submission and IR8A
• Participate in other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• CA or ACCA with more than 4 years of experiences
• Self-motivated, attentive to details, strong communication skills, and quick learner
• Good sense of ownership and able to work in a dynamic environment under pressure and tight timelines.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of Singapore tax law, tax-related requirements and financial reporting standards
• Proficient in Excel, and knowledgeable in accounting systems such as Million, Quickbooks
• Immediate available is advantageous.

Job Description

• Perform daily accounting & finance duties including receivables and payables processes, general ledger, tax, and bank reconciliation, etc.

• Consolidate accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards

• Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement, audits, procedures, and forms both statutory and internal

• Prepare quarterly financial & management reports and annual financial statements

• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, local tax and government authorities where required.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting & Finance or equivalent

• At least 2 years of experience in Accounting & Finance

• Strong understanding of accounting principles

• Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency

• Ability to handle ambiguity and confidentiality
