Job Description

1. Responsible for full spectrum of accounting functions in accordance with the Management and statutory reporting requirements for the Group.
2. To report daily operations, business performance and cash flow management status to the Management.
3. Review full set of accounts including but not limit to monthly bank reconciliation, AR collection status, AP payment status, general provision for management review within given deadlines.
4. Manage financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and audit reporting.
5. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, relevant government and regulatory agencies.
6. Prepare and submit GST and other tax matters.
7. Responsible for leading the physical stock count periodically, reviewing and reconciling system stock and physical stock, explaining variances and be ready for year end audit.
8. Provide financial advice to the Management and other HODs to support the overall business operations.
9. Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the Group.
10. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities.
11. Review and implement policies to improve workflows/processes to enhance operational efficiencies.
12. Supervise and mentor Accounts staff.
13. HR related experience needed
14. Any other accounts-related duties assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant Accounts experience in construction or manufacturing industries.
• Strong leadership with excellent communication and people management skills.
• Meticulous with good analytical skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Group Consolidation

• Perform monthly consolidation
• Prepare quarterly result announcement
• Review overseas subsidiaries accounts
• Assist in the group policy and process improvements

Fixed Assets

• Liaise with the user departments on the submission on Fixed Asset Requests (addition, disposal, transfer etc.)
• Record fixed assets acquisition and disposals in accounting system
• Assign tag numbers to fixed assets
• Execute depreciation run and depreciation reasonableness check
• Update the detailed movement schedule of fixed assets for reporting
• Conduct physical inventory counts of fixed assets

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA).
• Experience in shipyard/construction industry or listed company preferred.
• Knowledge in the related SFRSs.
• Self-starter, good initiative, able to work independently.
• Committed and responsible.
• Able to take feedback constructively.

Responsibilities:

· All aspects of accounting matters

· All other duties and assignments in relation to the business of the company

· Ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements:

· Degree in Accountancy

· Accounting / Auditing experience preferred

Roles and responsibility:

• Responsible for full spectrum of accounting function.

• This will include financial reporting, cost accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, annual statutory reporting, attending to annual audit & GST.

Job Requirements:

• CPA or any recognised degree in accountancy qualification, with min. 3 year’s experience in a similar position.

• Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Hands-on experience on ACCPAC will be advantageous.

• A self-motivated leader and team player, pro-active, independent and results oriented.

• Able to start work immediately or with short notice.
