This role requires the candidate to have a solid foundation in finance and taxation, hold ACCA certification, and lead a team to provide solutions that comply with industry and regulatory standards. The consultant will also lead the team in maintaining client relationships and ensuring that clients receive excellent support in tax compliance, financial planning, audit, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Advisory and Management:Provide comprehensive tax and financial advisory services to clients, addressing complex tax issues.
   Assist clients in tax planning and financial optimization, ensuring compliance with Singapore and international tax regulations.
   Offer professional advice on tax structuring, transfer pricing, international taxation, mergers and acquisitions, and other related areas as per clients' needs.
   
2. Tax Compliance and Optimization:Assist clients in the preparation and submission of annual tax returns, quarterly reports, and other compliance documents.
   Identify and recommend relevant tax incentives and schemes (e.g., tax exemptions, tax incentive programs) to clients.
   Support clients in handling tax audits and investigations, and respond to queries from the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
   
3. Team Leadership and Training:Lead and guide tax and accounting team members, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of client needs.
   Conduct training for the team on tax policies and regulatory updates, enhancing the team's professional capabilities.
   Oversee and review the quality of the team’s work, ensuring that the advisory and services provided to clients meet high standards.
   
4. Cross-Department Collaboration:Collaborate with other departments within the firm (such as audit, legal advisory, and risk management) to deliver integrated tax and financial services to clients.
   Assist the company in expanding tax advisory services and provide customized solutions for potential clients.
   
5. Business Development and Client Relationship Management:Participate in and drive the expansion of the firm’s tax advisory services, establishing long-term relationships with potential clients.
   Maintain good communication with existing clients, offering periodic tax advisory services and ensuring high client satisfaction.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in tax, accounting, or a related field, with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certification.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in taxation and accounting, particularly in public accounting firms or tax advisory firms.
• Extensive experience in team management, with the ability to lead and develop a tax and accounting team.
• Deep understanding of Singapore and Southeast Asian tax regulations and financial policies, with knowledge of international taxation being a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to clearly explain complex tax concepts to clients and internal teams.
• Strong business development abilities, able to identify new opportunities and drive the growth of the firm’s tax services.
• Proficiency in tax and accounting software, and experience in using financial analysis tools.
