Job Description & Requirements:

• Collaborate with various technology teams in the maintenance of effective internal controls
• Liaise with the Group Audit, Group Legal and Compliance teams on a regular basis
• Support team lead to manage internal/external audit engagements
• Raise issues/concerns, and provide constructive advice to the management so that significant IT risk and control issues are escalated and resolved properly
• Execute risk assessments and perform controls testing to ensure their effectiveness
• Track process improvements and issues corrective actions to ensure timely closure
• Work closely with stakeholders and security teams to mitigate/resolve reported security vulnerabilities
• Provide support and review on the privilege ID usage and conduct review to ensure adherence to access controls standards, including investigate on reported exceptions
• Perform data analysis or procedure reviews to ensure compliance to the security standards
• Work with internal stakeholders and vendor to review and streamline the work processes

Requirements:

• Minimum a degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline
• Working experience in Risk Management
• Good understanding of Secure Software Development Life Cycle, Threat and Vulnerabilities Assessment, Agile Methodology and IT General Controls
• Good understanding of technology and operational risks, regulatory requirements
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and with a positive attitude
• Willing to learn and take new challenges with an open-mind.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• You should have relevant audit experience of at least 3 years from established firms with good knowledge and understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and organisational best practices. Candidates with lesser experience may be considered for Associate level position
• Able to work independently as well as a team player.
• Proficient in English, both written and oral communication.
• Willingness to travel on overseas assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head of QC in all aspects of operational/compliance audits/reviews in the firm.
• Plan and conduct risk assessments and quality control reviews to ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory requirements and internal compliance requirements.
• Analyse and identify quality control gaps and validate that controls are operating effectively and timely.
• Provide/suggest refinements to improve controls and enhance quality control standards within the firm’s service lines and practices.
• Conduct independent reviews of audit engagements before audit opinions are signed.
• Carry out root cause analysis and monitor effectiveness of action plans to address quality and risk areas of weaknesses.
• Train, coach, develop and cultivate technical competencies to ensure capability of designated employees to maintain and comply with quality standards.
• Prepare and collate information/reports for regulatory and internal reviews and handle any related coordination work.

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or other relevant disciplines.
