About the Role:

Your role will encompass the administration of and any services pursuant to Administration Agreements in respect of a portfolio of Private Equity funds working closely with the Vice President and supervising a small team of accountants.

Your Role:

· Responsible for maintaining books and records and calculation of fund Net Asset Values;

· Coordinating and reviewing financial statements and associated reports, including performance metrics for monthly/quarterly reporting;

· Coordinate and review calculations of carried interest/performance/incentive fees;

· Coordinate and review calculations and investor allocations for capital calls, distributions and equalisations;

· Coordinate and review partner capital account statements;

· Coordinate processing of payments and other transactions;

· Supervise junior staff, reviewing and signing off on work performed;

· Acting as a primary day-to-day contact with clients and other fund participants;

· Work closely with the Investor Relations team to respond to investor queries and to disseminate capital activity and other investor notices;

· Maintaining relationships with investors, investment advisors/managers, banks and auditors and other fund participants;

· Assisting auditors and other fund participants and advisers;

· Participating in presentations to existing and prospective clients;

· Monitor compliance of various agreements with clients, including the Service Level Agreement;

· Participating in projects that may be defined from time to time in connection with the continuing expansion and evolution of the business;

· Any other functions required as part of the business of the Company, and reporting to the Vice President.

About You:

· Qualification (i.e. CA, CPA or ACCA or equivalent)

· Minimum 6 years’ experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly Private Equity, Asset Management or Fund Administration.

· Knowledge of IFRS and / or USGAAP

· Experienced in reviewing and preparing general ledger and financial statements.

· Established knowledge in relation to accounting and consolidations under IFRS.

· Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written).

· Motivated, bright and diligent individual who is driven to meet deadlines.

· A team player who is able to manage individual responsibilities.

· Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 3-4 years.

· Strong business acumen.

· Good client/ business relationship management

We are looking for an individual with positive and outgoing personality who are willing to take up our Accounts and Admin Assistant position.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Reports directly to Group Financial Controller and Accountant

• Perform various accounting responsibilities related to AP, including keying in suppliers invoice, preparing payment vouchers and processing payments

• Perform various accounting responsibilities related to AR, including keying in customer invoice and processing receipts

• Prepares intercompany billings

• Perform data entry

• Provides weekly cashflow balances

• Maintain proper filling and documentation

• Provide admin supports

• Liaise with Company Secretary and auditor

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum diploma in accounting, finance major or equivalent.

• Minimum 1 year of accounting or finance working experience.

• Proficient in Moneyworks accounting software, Numbers and Microsoft Office.

• Meticulous, Willing to learn, highly responsible, organized and able to multi-task and work independently.

• Successful applicant is expected to work either 4 half-days.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Order Fulfillment: Carefully review order details to ensure the correct items are picked and packed.
  Double-check quantities, sizes, colors, or product specifications to reduce the risk of errors.
• Packing and Handling: Securely pack items to prevent damage during transit, using appropriate packaging materials like bubble wrap, paper, or boxes suited to each product type. Label packages accurately.
• Quality Control: Inspect products before packing to identify any visible defects, damage, or discrepancies.
• Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with inventory management to notify team members of any stock shortages or discrepancies.
  Keep workstations organized, restock packing supplies, and ensure sufficient materials for uninterrupted work.
• Efficiency and Safety: Work efficiently to meet daily or hourly packing targets without compromising on quality.
  Follow safety protocols, especially when handling heavier items, sharp packing tools, or chemical-based packing materials.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding any issues, from order discrepancies to packaging defects.

WORKING HOURS

• Monday to Saturday: 8.30am to 6.30pm
• Able to work OT and PH
  

Job Descriptions:

• Familiar with and understanding all the tender requirements
• Exercise a collaborative plan and define the extent of the works
• Timely management of tender activities
• The general duty includes measurement of quantity, collection quotations, cost comparison, and participation in preparing tender price
• Review quotations with the designated specification
• Review quantities and cross-check for possible items that may have been overlooked
• Proofreading for tender responses to highlight areas for incorporation of quantity and ensure issuance to stakeholders to quote for works
• Price negotiations with subcontractors/partners.
• Review of cost impact (value engineering proposal/ variations)
• Able to manage/lead the team and assign tasks to the team members respectively

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in the local building construction industry. Main contractor experience is preferred
• Experience in tendering work.
• Sound computer literacy including advanced skills in Excel. Proficient in Cubicost Glodon will be a plus.
• Familiar with all types of building tendering will be advantageous
• Bilingual will be advantageous
