The primary role of the Assistant Manager, HR Operations, is to provide support to the Manager, HR Operations and any other persons or companies assigned, in a professional and timely manner.

This individual possesses communication, friendly, approachable, people management skill, good team player, meticulous and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall HR strategies, initiatives, policies and processes through implementation and maintenance of employee handbooks, organisation charts
• Nurture a positive working environment by bridging management and employee relations, and manage the grievance and disciplinary process when required
• Manage the HRMS; payroll, CPF, income tax, leave and claims administration, and other server management and applications
• Manage the performance management process, both confirmation and twice-yearly performance reviews, including salary benchmarking
• Manage the learning and development, and career planning processes
• Manage employee safety and welfare, including but not limited to, insurance, safe management process, business continuity plans, etc.
• Support current and future business needs through employee engagement and motivation
• Manage the administration of employee exit process
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
• Document HR SOPs
• Assist in ad-hoc duties as and when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree /Professional Certificate in HR or Business-related field
• At least 5 years of working experience in HR related field
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office
• Good disposition, interpersonal, meticulous and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Possess a positive attitude to learn and grow with the company
• Able to work independently

Job Scope

• Assist and co-ordinate with SNM /NM in handling NUD Issues / Residents’ and family members enquires.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care as required by the Company’s quality procedures, guidelines, standard operating procedures and policy.
• Participate in orientation and in-service education programmes and supervise the care under his / her charge as required.
• Participate in any and all activities related to the smooth running of ward / unit.
• Identify competent Staff Nurse In-Charge / Level Supervisor / Staff in accordance to their job performance.
• Accountable for nursing care given ensures that personal practice and that of staff under supervision meets standards of practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care based on knowledge of the nursing process and related incidents.
• Ensure that the delivery of nursing care meets the resident’s specific needs, privacy and confidentiality.
• Update relevant internal personnel, external medical facility / institution and family members on resident conditions as and when required.
• Participate in review of processes which monitor care provision to residents.
• Assist doctors and nursing staff during treatments and examinations of residents.
• Ensure that all documentation in relation to all aspects of resident care management is accurately maintained (including investigation, analysis and reporting on incident reports). Supervise the staff under his / her charge in the delivery of quality residents' centered care, provide feedback to SNM / NM and document such information where necessary. Demonstrate good understanding of all nursing home procedures, guidelines, standard operating procedures and policies.
• Proficient in identifying root cause analysis for continual improvement.
• Observe, Counsel and Report repeated issues/behavior misfit supported by documented evidence, such as the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), Internal Corrective Action Request (ICAR) to the SNM / NM.
• Audit and Check that all documentations (including investigation, analysis and reporting on incident report) are duly completed and filed.
• Assist the SNM / NM to submit monthly Training Assessments / Nominations for staff under his / her charge for evaluation.
• Attend appropriate education programmes for further self-development.
• Participate in ongoing and in-service educational activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement project (CIP).
• Maintain safe work practices and ensure a safe working environment which meets required standards.
• Familiar with all aspects of the nursing home emergency and evacuation procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in departmental quality procedures and guidelines and policy reviews when required
• Ensure compliance to the Company’s quality procedures, guidelines and policy. Monitor and report on non-compliance and implement necessary changes resulting from quality assurance findings in consultation with the SNM / NM.

• Min Degree in Nursing
• Min 5 years of permanent nursing experience, must be recent experience

Job Description:

• This position will be accountable for planning, coordinating and managing staff and services to ensure efficient and effective F&B operations and that customer service standards are maintained at all times.
• This role will encompass the formulation and implementation of operating procedures and standards, the management and development of team members, and liaise with executive management to ensure that company’ short and long term goals are met.
• Work with team members in service and food preparation to minimize wastage and increase productivity and efficiency. Review operating results with the team and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Ensure all cashiering procedures are processed in compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor and minimize wastage of consumables and maintain labor productivity ratios.
• Anticipate heavy business times and organize procedures to handle extended waiting lines.
• Monitor guest reactions and confer frequently with service staff or captains to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Respond to guest comments, requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Take personal responsibility to resolve issues.
• Manage Human Resources responsibilities for assigned department(s) to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintains guest profiles on a daily basis and takes appropriate actions as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in an integrated resort, restaurant group, private club or luxury hotel chain specializing in Chinese cuisine.
• Possess a comprehensive set of F&B service and operations skills and a focus on VIP customer service.
• Enjoy problem solving and can think outside-the-box in difficult situations.
• Team oriented approach to management with a mindset of open communications.
• Capable of building and managing relationships with multiple departments as well as key customers.
• Administration knowledge of F&B operations and Quality management, proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
