The position is responsible for ensuring that accurate processing and reconciliation on the credit card payments and adjustment into Property Management System (PMS) and to assist Credit Manager in maintaining the proper accounts receivable procedures within the hotel in accordance with local and corporate policies and procedures.

Job Overview:

As a Senior Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the general ledger functions of the company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, as well as providing timely and insightful analysis to support decision-making processes. This position requires strong knowledge and experience in SAP, as it will involve utilizing the system extensively for financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the general ledger operations, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Perform variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial results
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the general ledger function
• Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and support tax audits
• Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting, with a proven track record of success
• Strong knowledge and experience in utilizing SAP for financial reporting and analysis
• Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• CPA certification or equivalent is preferred but not required
