WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Provide friendly and efficient check-in and check-out service at Hotel Reception
• Carry out the completion of the registration process by retrieving and inputting information from the computer system confirming the guest's hotel reservation information
• Handle and resolve guest complaints and special requests professionally, ensuring prompt actions at all times
• Willing to take on a proactive role ensuring that all hotel policies and instructions implemented are followed throughout at the Hotel Reception counters and Lobby•Handle walk-in, email, phone inquiries, and internet hotel room reservations
• Adhering to all front desk cashiering duties, including proper credit and cash handling policies and procedures
• Prepare shift reports for submission to accounts.
• Co-ordinate/liaise with other departments in all areas of operations: housekeeping, room service, maintenance, reservation
• Maintain and improve the hotel’s high standard of service and hospitality by providing relevant information such as customer feedback
• Perform any other duties as required and directed by the Manager or Management.

Job Description:

• Assist the Head of HSEQ with Safety and Marine-related issues pertaining to offices, contractual service functions, and vessels.
• Ensure that the SMS platform complies with all applicable maritime laws and regulations.
• assistance with safety campaigns, internal vessel audits, and incident investigations.
• Keep an eye on user requests for modifications to SMS, and work with process owners to plan changes to procedures and implement them in SMS.
• Track changes to laws (IMO, Class, Flag), make adjustments to processes and procedures, and release information via SMS.
• Centre of attention for setting up and organising management reviews.
• As needed, teach sea and shore personnel in SMS and HSEQ, and establish quality targets for the fleet.
• As a member of the crisis response team, create and update business continuity strategies.
• As needed, assist the Technical, Crewing, and Vetting departments.
• Gathering information on HSEQ performance, audit findings, and inspections for trend analysis.
• Assist the Head of HSEQ in analysing performance information and promoting enhancements in performance.
• Writing and publishing Circulars and Newsletters.

Requirements:

• Degree in maritime studies or bachelor's degree in a different field or
• It would be beneficial to have relevant certificates in health and safety or maritime, or an equivalent
• Two years as a head of HSEQ or
• Five years of appropriate experience working for a ship management company.
• Understanding of worldwide HSEQ laws, rules, and guidelines (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 1801, and ISM Code)

Responsiblities :

· Assist in overall marketing campaigns, digital advertising and EDM efforts

· Post updates and monitor social media platforms

· Increase the market awareness of the brand/product/solutions, generating leads, converting sales as well as fostering customer loyalty.

· Amend/ Produce basic marketing materials/ copywriting to support sales, promotion, advertising efforts

· Desktop research and report on receptiveness of product offerings/ promotions to understand customers’ needs and suggest future marketing programmes

· Support, organize and coordinate marketing events such as conferences, webinars, and trade shows

· Attend sales and marketing meetings and take minutes

· Support any offline, online, social media marketing activities as required and generating data-driven commercial insights.

· Follow brand guide for the proper use of supplier and own brands.

· Execute external communications with compliance to legislation and guidelines

Requirements:

• Min. O levels and above

· Good written and verbal communication skills

• Possess a good attitude towards learning and challenging situations

· Creative, resourceful, attention to detail, able to work under pressure within tight deadlines and well-organized with a customer-oriented approach

· Interested in digital trends, and quick to adjust to new software tools

· Candidates with following skills will have advantage:

· Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Mailchimp, SEMrush, Google suite, Wix, Wordpress

· Initiative and commitment to complete assigned tasks
