General

• Operate the infectious disease and non-infectious disease surveillance systems and dashboards for the population he is responsible for

• To be the point-of-contact between MOH Communicable Diseases Division and the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA) with regard to outbreak response within the hospital
• Support for Woodlands health Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (WASP), including
  • Data extraction, analysis and monitoring of WASP dashboards, indicators and databases
  • Analysis and monitoring of WASP related audit data e.g National Antimicrobial Utilisation Point Prevalence survey, ASP prospective audits of broad-spectrum antimicrobial utilisation

• Support RHO Clinical Director to drive the preventive health clinical strategy
• Conduct regular population health and social sensing of our key population groups and regular epidemiological analysis of the data
• Support the conceptualization, planning and implementation of population health and integrated care programs, including collaborating with other departments where appropriate

Functions and Responsibilities

• Comply to ASL HSSEQ policy and procedures.
• Responsible for the preparation of a full set of accounts for her or his portfolio of vessels up to monthly closing for review
• Issues the invoices for each client according to the contractual agreements and upon approval from his/her supervisor submits them to clients, as well as monitors their timely payment, reporting any potential discrepancies from the schedule. Monitors the financial position of assigned vessels.
• Executes all the accounting transactions of the assigned vessels, i.e., invoices, expenses, payments, payroll, etc., and updates accordingly to all the respective accounting ledgers, in order to assist in the effective monitoring of each vessel's financial operation and compliance with the accounting rules and legislation.
• Prepare cheques when payment is due.
• Review month-end victualling statement from vessels (non-Garret vessels) and additional costs due to the extra meals (for Garret's vessels)
• Produces and submits periodical financial reports of the assigned vessels to senior management and reviews vessels' actual costs against budgets. Informs the Senior Accountant of each assigned vessel, concerning budget variances.
• Responsible for the full set of accounts of his or her portfolio of vessels up to monthly closing for review with the Senior Accountant
• Review and check the master’s month-end cash statement
• Upon approval, proceeds to the prompt settlement of all accounts/payments of related vessels, to support the smooth operation of vessels.
• Assisting Senior accountant for the timely preparation of yearly Company financial reports.
• Proceeds all the accounting entries and develops analytical monthly accounting reports according to the requirements and processes of Arcadia, in order to provide management with the requirement information. Requirements

1. Diploma in Accountancy/Finance/CPA/ACCA/Diploma

2. At least 4 years of accounting experience specializing in vessel accounting handling analytical reporting from the shipping industry

3. Required Skill(s): Accounts, Tax and GST reporting

4. A team player who is hands-on and meticulous in his/her work and can deliver within tight deadlines

5. Prior experience in the Shipping / Ship Management industry is a MUST.

6. Prior experience with the DANAOS accounting module is preferred
