• Maintain Fixed Asset Register and ensure that the sub-ledger tie to the general ledger
• Raise debit/credit note to related parties for payments on their behalf
• Prepare and submit Quarterly GST, WHT
• Review proper transaction journals for closing of other entities within the group
• Assist and prepare relevant supporting for internal and external auditor
• Prepare annual budget report in Dynamics 365 Business Central system
• Liaise with external parties such as vendors, landlord, banks, auditor and relevant statutory/ regulatory authorities
• Handle compliance matters with MAS such as quarterly filing, assist in representative license application, response to MAS Queries and Surveys
• Assist in ad-hoc admin tasks
• Provide support in any other matters that the Management and the department/division head requires including ad-hoc projects etc.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of full set of accounts experience
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Dynamics 365 Business Central knowledge will be advantageous
• Able to work independently and as a team

Roles & Responsibilities

• Draft and compile comprehensive tender documents including specifications, drawings, and scope of work.
• Conduct detailed cost estimations and evaluate tenders to ensure competitive and accurate bids.
• Manage contract agreements and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Develop detailed quotations for clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Verify that all required documentation is complete and submitted in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
• Monitor and manage project costs to avoid overspending and ensure financial efficiency.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring they align with financial constraints and objectives.
• Evaluate price comparisons and prepare summaries to support cost control measures.
• Draft and process variation orders for changes in project scope or requirements.
• Generate and submit monthly progress reports to support progress payment claims and project tracking.
• Assess and negotiate with proposed subcontractors in consultation with the project manager, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
• Manage and finalize accounts for both main and subcontractors, ensuring all financial obligations are met and discrepancies resolved.
• Participate in project meetings as required, providing input on cost-related issues and project progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned, which may include ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities related to project cost management.
• Liaise with Engineers and Managers regarding their purchasing requirements.
• Source and negotiate for equipment and supplies.
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality standards, delivery, and prices.

Job Responsibilities

• Sourcing/negotiation with various suppliers and subcontractors from company’s vender’s list for pricing/quality/service, to ensure cost competitiveness and service to meet company requirement;
• Keep update of purchase order into company costing system;
• Make monthly purchase report;
• Update vender list of suppliers and subcontractors, build up and update direct contact with local and overseas makers;
• Build up and update data base of company production consumables, ship store supply and ship spares for quotation and purchase purpose;
• Prepare documents including delivery order and apply related permits for ship’s repairs at request;
• Assist for operations arrangement, such as coordination with ship’s agent, superintendent, sub-contractors and our repair team for daily operation if necessary;
• Assist for quotation of ship store and spare supply if necessary;
