• Identify and evaluate risks associated with trade operations, including currency fluctuations, geopolitical tensions, and transportation risks, and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Manage letters of credit and ensure prompt settlement of trade transactions.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders involved in trade operations.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, sanctions, and compliance requirements, staying informed of any updates or changes.
• Manage Incoterms for each transaction, negotiating terms to clearly define responsibilities and delivery terms between buyers and sellers.
• Oversee quality control procedures to guarantee that traded goods meet specified standards and customer expectations.
• Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external partners engaged in the trade process.
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies encountered during the trade process, including disputes, delays, or quality issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in international trade or logistics are a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trade operations, international logistics, or a related field.
• Experience with various trade finance instruments is desirable.
• In-depth understanding of international trade regulations, documentation requirements, and logistics processes.
• Familiarity with trade finance instruments and risk management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both English and Chinese.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling trade documentation and ensuring compliance.
• The ideal candidate should have robust analytical and problem-solving skills, be a collaborative team player, demonstrate adaptability to changing market conditions, regulations, and business requirements, and exhibit proficiency in technology.

Job Scopes:

1. Closing Full Set of Accounts​​​​​​

• Prepare journal entries, adjustments and audit schedules to support

2. HR duties

• Assist in the recruiting process including job advertisement posting, resume screening and arranging of interviews.
• Generate HR documents: Employment Contract, Confirmation Letter, etc.
• Maintain and upkeep of HR database accurately, all employee personal files records are complete and treated in strictest confidence.
• Manage WP, SP, EP matters - application, renewal, cancellation, monitoring quota details, expiry dates.
• Process payrolls include CPF submission, reporting employee earnings (AIS) in accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare and coordinate employee on-boarding/off-boarding process.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned.

3. Administrative duties

• Manage the office and ensure that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Acquire and maintain office furnishing, equipment and supplies eg. Stationery
• Liaise with partners, vendors and suppliers through emails and phone calls.
• Handle the incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.
• Greet visitor and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
• Handle travel arrangements (air ticket booking/ visa application/ accommodation reservation/ arranging schedule) and manage all expense claims.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned.
• Prepare RFQ

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in related field or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Singapore labour and employment laws.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience
