The Public relations is responsible in committing all the PR work which include the representation of interests of the Embassy with immigration authorities and airport authorities and reception procedures, welcome visitors from UAE and citizens, whether for tourism or medical treatment as well as official delegations from UAE, and to provide the necessary support needed and facilities required by the authorities and official agencies.

Main Duties:

• Preparations and receiving of Official delegations in coordination with the Office of the Ambassador and diplomats involved
• Provide Logistical support to official delegations and the Embassy in coordinating with all sections of the Embassy
• Supervise with follow up on the movements & schedules of the Embassy cars and organizing the schedule of drivers
• Follow up on all car maintenance and related matters (insurance/tickets/fuel, etc.)
• Provide support and assistance for UAE citizens in immigration matters (Visa Extensions)
• Provide support and assistance for the family of Diplomats in immigration matters
• Overseeing maintenance of diplomats ' residences
• Responsible in building beneficial relationships with providers of interest mission (hotels/restaurants/places/airport/transportation/Police/Immigration (ICA), etc.)
• Support for all activities of the Ambassador outside the office and in coordination with the Office of Ambassador and works on the official protocol and rules that relate to the activities of Ambassador and take them consistently
• Record all correspondence of official docs and archive in an orderly manner
• Track the completion of governmental procedures and transactions, and refer to official authorities in the host country concerning official business of the embassy, such as issuing flight permits, customs clearance and the diplomatic pouch, and follow-up
• Contribute to organizing and arranging conferences, concerts, seminars, and exhibitions and make the necessary arrangements.

Experience & Qualifications Required

• Candidate is either Singaporean Nationality or Permanent Resident.
• Candidates must possess a university degree in public relations, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline.
• Proven 2 years working experience in public relations required
• Proven record of accomplishment designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level.
• Effectively and proficiently bilingual (speech & written) in English and Arabic Language to liaise with Arabic speaking customers and associates.
• Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets.
• Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Event planning experience.

Skills and Behavioural qualities: -

• IT proficiency is necessary, with competency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
• Proficient in Arabic Language & Advanced English Language (speech & written)
• Effective verbal and listening communications skills
• Stress management with analytical & problem-solving skills
• Teamwork and readily adapts to new situations & way of working when required. Is receptive to changes and demonstrates a willingness to adapt to them effectively.
