We are looking for a Market Conduct Complicance Officer to join the team.

Glencore’s Market Conduct team is a rapidly developing part of the Compliance organization responsible for an effective framework which manages our risks related to market abuse, insider dealing, financial market regulation and exchange/ venue rule compliance.

This role will support the Singapore office in administering the market conduct programme and performing advisory and regulatory work. The role has a high degree of exposure to senior traders and management within all departments.

This role will form part of the Group Compliance team and will report to the Group Head of Market Conduct and Head of Market Regulation.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the management and administration of the Market Conduct programme for the Singapore office.

· Act as an advisory contact for Singapore traders including metals, coal, oil, gas and environmental. Advisory work includes the following:

• Application of Market Conduct Policy, Guidelines and Procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES
Part of GBSU (Global Business Service Unit), the candidate will join the DCS team in charge of Data and Cyber Security aligned to regional Société Générale GBIS (Global Banking and Investors Solutions) Business Unit. This role acts as a subject matter expert, main coordinator and point of contact on Cyber Incident Response, Cyber Crisis Management, Cyber Surveillance, Threat intelligence, E-fraud and Data Protection in the regional team. Furthermore the role will support IT project assessments.The candidate will be required to:

• Develop, implement and maintain the regional cyber incident response plans, procedures and related documentation in alignment with global standards.
• Develop and maintain a relationship with the threat intelligence community in Asia financial services, including regulators, industry peers, law enforcement agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.

Ensure optimization of vessels for the overall Network and at the same time minimizing all relevant cost. Monitoring slot utilization of vessel against allocation and capacity.

Specific Areas of Responsibility

1. Daily Reports to Liners in Singapore and Geneva HQ

- Daily Bookings

Ensure the accuracy of agent’s forecast/final loading through system (I-space)

Monitor allocation/diversion instructions by the respective line managers and ensure agents follow up and update in the system.

- Daily Executive Summary

Liaise with agency offices (POL) pertaining to market trend- increase/decrease in cargoes projections and report to line managers.

2. Monitoring cargoes connections and instructing transhipment ports (6 main T/S ports: NBO/CWN/HKG/PUS/SIN/TPP) of planned cargoes nominations base on allocation assigned by line managers.

- Planned for cargoes diversions and rollovers by instructing transhipment POLs

- Review possible miss connections and advancement of cargoes basis on the utilization of the vessels.

- Co-ordinate the necessary conversion of Optional to fix and vice versa with pol or the restows of Optional with planner/line ops to achieve maximum vessel utilization.

Candidate Requirement

· Degree/Diploma holder, preferably in Maritime Transportation or Nautical Studies.
