You will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports, while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, verifying appropriate approvals and coding.
• Prepare and perform weekly, monthly, and annual payment runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with procurement and other departments to resolve invoice and payment-related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the accounting system.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts payable.
• Generate financial reports and analysis related to accounts payable as required.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in accounts payable or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:

• To ensure compliance of Hotel Security Policies and Procedures
• To assume responsibilities during shifts.
• To keep abreast of developments within the hotel and community as they relate to security.
• To have a clear understanding of current and amended laws, employee’s handbook and all new policies and procedures which may be issued from time to time by the management.
• To take an active role in the implementation of the hotel’s fire plan including use of fire extinguishers and firefighting peripherals, rendering first aid and duties as member of CERT
• To conduct briefings for each shift, covering security information, important events or any other matter arising.
• To document all incidents occurring in the hotel in connection with crime, subversions, potential liabilities, and insurance requirements.
• To control the keys, lock system, alarm system and fire protection system.

• To observe the grooming policy as laid out in the employee’s handbook, as well as those set out by the department.
• To cooperate efficiently with all departments within the hotel directly or indirectly involved with the Security Department.
• Ensure all matter are reported to Security Supervisor /Assistant Security Manager /Security Manager.

Job Summary:

The Environmental Control Officer (ECO) plays a critical role in ensuring that road and civil construction projects adhere to environmental regulations and standards. Working closely with road contractors, government agencies, and environmental stakeholders, the ECO oversees environmental compliance, monitors construction activities, and implements mitigation measures to minimize environmental impacts. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental laws, regulations, and best practices in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure that all construction activities comply with relevant environmental laws, regulations, and permits.

· Review project plans and specifications to identify potential environmental impacts and develop mitigation strategies.

· Conduct regular inspections to monitor compliance with environmental requirements and address any violations promptly.

· Maintain records of environmental monitoring data, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.

· Implement erosion and sediment control measures to prevent soil erosion and protect water quality.

· Monitor noise and vibration levels to minimize disturbances to surrounding communities.

· Coordinate with government agencies, clients, and community stakeholders to address environmental concerns.

· Respond to inquiries and complaints from the public regarding environmental issues related to construction activities.

· Provide environmental training to project staff and contractors to raise awareness of environmental requirements and best practices.

· Develop educational materials and conduct outreach programs to promote environmental stewardship among project stakeholders.

· Foster a culture of environmental responsibility and compliance within the project team and contractor workforce.

· Identify potential environmental risks associated with construction activities and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.

· Respond to environmental incidents and emergencies, such as spills or releases, in accordance with established protocols.

· Conduct post-project evaluations to assess the effectiveness of environmental mitigation measures and identify lessons learned for future projects.

Qualifications:

· Registered Environmental Control Officer for Specified Construction Sites with National Environment Agency.

· Previous experience in environmental compliance, preferably in the construction industry or infrastructure development projects.

· Strong knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and facilitate collaborative problem-solving.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex environmental issues and develop practical solutions.

· Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.

· Experience in the implementation of ISO 14001 and Green & Gracious Builder Scheme (GGBS)

· Working Day: Monday to Friday and Alternate Saturday

· Salary commensurate with working experience
