BASIC FUNCTION
To provide assistance to Accounts Department and ensure accounting activities especially payable and receivable are accountable for on a daily basis. To support part of Human Resource activities which includes using online portals e.g. Ministry of Manpower, SkillsConnect and others. To undertake all tasks directed by General Manager and Board of Management.
Accounts Executive
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key accountabilities include the following but are not limited to:
· Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting
· Manage all accounting transactions of all food outlets and Central Kitchen
· Recording of bills, invoices into accounting system
· Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
· Accounts receivable and credit control
· Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
· Publish financial statements on time
· Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
· Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
· Compute payroll of all staff and support functions of Human Resource
· Coordinate and liaise with clients to ensure smooth monthly closing of accounts
· Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes
Requirements:
· Proficiency in accounting software and bookkeeping programs
· Demonstrate intermediate skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
· Time management and organisational skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organisation
· Ability to work independently in a fast paced working environment
· Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
· At least 2 – 3 years of relevant working experience in a food and beverage company
