About the Project

The performance-interpretability tradeoff (PIT) in data science and AI refers to the balance between how well a statistical/machine learning model performs, and how readily humans can comprehend it. This project investigates the nature and characteristics of PIT in discourse research, focusing on the following:

i) the (strategically) indeterminate nature of PIT

ii) PIT in time-based algorithms and discourses

iii) conceptual relationship(s) between PIT and ‘mixed-methods’ discourse research, with subsequent developments based on emergent findings.

Discourse datasets to be investigated include psychological counseling, social media, academic lectures, and other relevant time-based contexts, while time-based algorithms include LSTM, ARIMA time series, and survival regression models. The project also aims to design and develop relevant pedagogical resources aimed at students and the general public.

• Engage with customers via phone, email, mail, or in person to address invoicing issues and payment collection matters
• Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities and continuously follow up on payment collection
• Work towards attaining optimum AR ratio by ensuring receivables are collected in line with the agreed payment terms
• Support the monthly reconciliation of other AR-related accounts (such as unapplied cash, unclaimed credits, clearing, accrual, bad debt, withholding, and sales tax)
• Analyze and continuously identify opportunities to improve the AR processes
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the company's Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE), Ethics & Compliance, and Food Safety (if applicable) policies
• Perform any other duties as requested by the Team Leader and the Manager

Requirements:

• At least 1 years experience in accounts receivable/finance function/account-related field
• A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Good people skills
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite
• Strong and confident communicator
• Comfortable dealing with both internal and external stakeholders (clients, sales team, production team, etc)
• Attention to detail and meticulous
• Recognizes and resolves problems quickly and effectively

Roles & Responsibilities

Accounting Support:

· Assist in data entry, tickets issuing, invoice processing, transport scheduling and CODO tracking.

· Reconcile transaction report to ensure accuracy.

· Cross departments collaboration to compile and organize financial data.

Administrative Tasks:

· Maintain and update physical and digital filing systems, ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible.

· Assist in preparing reports and correspondence as needed.

· Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.

· Assist in Office Event, schedule appointments, meetings, and conference calls, and manage calendars for team members as needed.

Effective Communication and Coordination:

· Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and vendors to provide necessary information and support.

· Collaborate with team members to facilitate effective cross-functional communication.

Data Entry and Analysis:

· Input data accurately into spreadsheets, databases, and other software tools.

· Assist in data analysis to support decision-making processes.

General Support:
