• General office administration work (data entry, filing and monitoring stationery supplies )

Accounts Executive/Assistant Accountant (Accounts Payable)

Our client is an established household brand in the food industry in Singapore. As a result of business growth, they are now seeking a high calibre Accounts Executive/Assistant Accountant (AP) to join them.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Process and review invoices, credit memos, and expense reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier payments within payment terms.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and account balances.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues or discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Analyse AP aging to identify and resolve any overdue invoices or payment delays.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional Accounting qualifications.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in accounts payable or related role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer payment issues.

Job Descriptions:

• To build, establish, maintain and improve relationships with customers
• To perform, monitor and ensure 100% inventory accuracy on the inventory management, such as, cycle count, inbound & outbound physically and system, etc
• Monitor and follow up closely with customers to resolve inbound and outbound goods discrepancies in a weekly basis
• Ensure that order shipments are process accurately based on the order and instructions given by the customers and or management
