Shipping Assistant cum Accounts

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Shipping Assistant cum Accounts to join our team at Fairteck Holding Pte Ltd. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, a diploma in a relevant field, and preferably, experience with SAP or other ERP software. This role also involves supporting the Sales Support team and handling import/export documentation.

Job Description:

· Attend to import and export shipment process and documentation preparation

· Daily tracking of export shipments and coordination with service providers

· Knowledge of shipping, custom-related issues, port operations, and permit declaration.

· Liaising closely with various forwarders for shipment confirmation and shipment arrangements

· Follow up and advise customers on shipment status

· Able to assist retail department preparing invoice and DO for daily delivery

· Input data and generate reports for retail department

· Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

· 'O' Level or above, or equivalent

· 2 to 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field

· Work independently and able to work in a fast-paced environment

· A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn;

· Good communication and organization skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities:

• Handle Account Payable & Receivable.
• Controlling Documentation, purchase invoices & sales invoices.
• Maintain files and records of the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly and annual financial reports and maintain full sets of accounts and account schedules
• Prepare quarterly GST submission and annual tax submission
• Monthly preparation and calculation of sales commission for the team
• Handle petty cash claims and reimbursement
• Supports sales team in customer accounts creation, generating invoices and quotations
• Issue rental invoices to tenants and ensure that payment is received on time
• Reconciling monthly invoices for sales commission
• Supporting Sales & Marketing dept for credit control and payment collection (execution)
• Perform quality control, analyse and evaluation on client adhoc/project creditapplication forms
• Handling operational banking matters such as monitoring bank account balances, preparation of cheques and bank transfer to vendors
• Assist with annual stock take
• Perform any additional ad-hoc assignments as and when required

Requirements:

• LCCI Higher / Diploma / Degree in Accountancy
• Min 6 years of accounting related experience
• Strong communication skills and Proactive
• Possesses the highest levels of integrity
• Pleasant personality and good team player
• Able to work under pressure and work independently
• Preferred verse in Microsoft Dynamic Navision 2017

Scope of Work

● Administer day to day operations of China and Singapore marketing, claims and underwriting departments and prepare various marketing strategies for all businesses, such as social media, education, online and offline training.

● Develop and operationalize sustainability reporting (China & Singapore companies), including WeChat OA Broadcasting, New Media Matrix data collection, Live Data Analysis etc.

● Coordinate with Chinese advertising agencies, including, Wechat/Redbook/Facebook etc. And recommend improvements to company profile and develop and maintain relations.

Requirements

● At least 5 years of General Management or Marketing or equivalent experience with proven ability in marketing management and strategic business development.

● Master or Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Management Studies.

● Good communication and collaboration skills with a professional and pleasant demeanor

● Ability to communicate, present and influence counterparts of the organization

● Proven ability to successfully manage and strategize for social media & education marketing clients and forecast all budget requirements.
