Job scope

• Handle Daily Purchasing operation including sourcing, quotation inquiry, negotiating pricing and expediting delivery schedule
• Receive Purchase Requisition form from various departments and place order
• Prepare and issuance of Purchase order
• Track and trace Purchase order and delivery schedules and communicate the status updates to the relevant departments and storemans
• Assist to establish and implement new inventory system
• Monitor stock movement to ensure minimum inventory holdings using inventory system
• Identify and evaluate new vendors on pricing, quality and level of service on a regular basis
• Participate in full stock take
• Able to maintain good relationship with current existing and new suppliers
• Arrangement of drivers to collect deliveries ordered
• Check and approve suppliers' invoices against Purchase Orders and delivery orders
• Assist in answering calls and doing proper documentation of documents.
• Other Ad-Hoc Duties as assigned by superiors

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a diploma, advance/higher/graduate diploma in Business studies/ Administration/Management or equivalent

Job scope

• Perform visual checking and receipt of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and SCBA cylinders.

• Assist the Breathing Apparatus Team Leader (BA TL) to carry out service, repair and testing of the following components of the SCBA sets:

̵ Backplate

̵ Facemask

̵ Lung Demand Valve (LDV)

• Assist the BA TL to carry out service and repair of the Fire Fighting and Rescue helmets.

• Perform routine maintenance and checking on the SCBA cylinders hydrostatic testing status.

• Update records on SCBA sets maintained and tested via a proprietary software.

• Update the service and repairs of SCBA sets, BA cylinders and helmets via FormSG.

• Assist in preparing quotations and tenders.

Requirements

The job holder should:

• Preferably have a Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics or similar fields, given the job scope. Salary ranges from $2,500 to $3,600 per month depending on qualifications and relevant working experience

• At least 1 year of relevant admin and/or procurement experience.

• Good with MS Office.

• Preferably be experienced in using SAP software.

• Meticulous and detail-oriented.

• Able to adapt to the team and working environment would be an advantage.
