• Oversee and monitor the school booking system for Learning Journeys at the museum and keep track of school visits and answer enquiries about school programmes, bookings via emails, and phone calls, etc.

• Co-ordinate weekday and weekend docent tours/virtual tours for school visits, regular or special requests.

• Welcome school groups to the museums or virtually, and undertake crowd control measures during peak periods or when there are a few school groups in the museum.

• Prepare and monitor educational resources and worksheets.

• Co-ordinate logistics / equipment list for all workshops and programmes.

• Assist in the coordination and the running of the workshops or programmes – both onsite and online.

• Liaise with various groups on bookings of museum facilities for activities like training, gatherings, meetings etc.

• Work with the Education Managers in research and content development in the following domains – Early Childhood Programmes, Education Programmes, Access Programmes.

• Handle the dissemination and distribution of marketing materials like school brochures, newsletter, resource kits etc.

• Assist in maintaining exhibition interpretive spaces.

Requirements:

• Minimum Education Level: Diploma or Degree is preferred

• Field of study: Arts management, education, art, history, or museum/gallery-related is preferred.

• Skillset: Microsoft office, especially with using excel

• Minimum number of years of experience: With relevant experiences is preferred, others are welcome to apply too.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Performing cell culture, western blot, protein extraction and a variety of sample preparation techniques for LC-MS analysis
• Performing basic usage and maintenance of Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry equipment
• Performing routine data analysis for mass spectrometry data
• Documenting and reporting of lab experiments and results
• Support lab operations by preparing common reagents and buffers, lab safety and other lab and administrative duties

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, chemical biology or related field
• Motivated to learn new laboratory techniques.
• Responsible, organized and able to work independently.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others.
• Prior experience with liquid chromatography mass spectrometry is preferred but not required.
• Prior experience with R is a plus but not required.

• Maintaining contacts with airlines, trade, industry and government bodies to keep abreast of information and economy/market developments
• Manage daily shipping co-ordination of shipments by air, sea (export/import/3rd party/local delivery)

• At least 2 years of working experience as Sales admin
