Prof Derek Hausenloy’s laboratory aims to discover new treatments for protecting the heart from acute ischaemia/reperfusion injury and for preventing heart failure. We use a translational approach to research comprising cell models, rodent models (atherosclerosis, acute myocardial infarction and heart failure), nanoparticles for delivery of therapeutics to the ischaemic heart, and clinical studies.

The Duke-NUS Cancer and Stem Cell Biology (CSCB) Programme studies the causes and treatments of cancer and related diseases.
