The Engineer shall plan and install delivery links to send the audio video feeds from the event sites to the designated location(s) by deploying suitable technologies. He is to ensure the feed received at the designated location is of broadcast quality and monitor them throughout the events. A bioinformatician/molecular microbiologist is sought to join a team working on metagenome-resolved biogeography and functional ecology of photosynthetic microbial communities under extreme environmental stress.

The main responsibilities of the position include:
1. Analysis of metagenomic sequence data with various packages using the R statistical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the enterprise server systems and networking equipment administrations, support escalation, updates, enhancements, and new initiatives rollout.
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on Enterprise internetworking technologies, stays abreast of IT technologies trends and industry best practices to provide expert recommendation to management on overall network architecture strategy.

Requirements:

• Candidate is required to be hands-on in day-to-day network infrastructure management and support.

The Department of Family Medicine (DFM) at NUHS was established in 2017 with the aim of supporting the Division of Family Medicine within the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine of the National University of Singapore (NUS). DFM is composed of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, researcher, medical educators, and administrators. As part of our efforts to significantly increase our research capacity, we are looking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Research Assistant to support DFM’s research workplans and activities. He/she will play a key role in strategizing and supporting in developing and expanding DFM’s research

capabilities to achieve its research mission of improving the lives of people receiving primary care.

Our research spans across a wide range of areas: chronic diseases, including mental health, cancer care and multimorbidity; healthy longevity; family orientation; and quality of care, including continuity and coordination.

Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Assistant in Investigational Medicine Unit, Department of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Investigational Medicine Unit (IMU) was established to lead and facilitate investigational medicine research within NUHS through collaborations with academics and industry partners to translate laboratory discoveries. Purpose of the post

The Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and study team members to ensure the successful completion of the trial on time in accordance with GCP, regulatory guidelines and institutional policies. The RA’s principal role will be to work in general practices such as recruitment, data collection, data entry and analysis.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Assistant will liaise with the relevant personnel in hospital to smooth the process of recruitment and data collection and will be accountable to the Principle Investigator (PI). The RA will be able to:

1. Oversee the general management of the project;
2. Provide administrative and secretarial support to the project, such as organizing regular meetings to maintain regular communication with other members of the research team and collaborate with the study sites;
3. Undertake the day to day running of the project at the study site, e.g. Collaborate with team members at the study sites, recruitment, data collection at hospitals/participants’ homes;
4. Conduct literature searches, using SPSS to enter data, and analyze data and maintain trial database, as well as assist in preparing both progress and final reports of the project;
5. Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with policies and procedures;
6. Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by the PI.

Qualifications

The applicant should:

1. holds a Bachelor degree in nursing/medicine/science or related disciplines;
2. be able to work independently and in a team, have an investigative nature, attention to detail;
3. have knowledge of applications, e.g. ICH-GCP, BCLS, EMR, MS office, PowerPoint;
4. have experiences in clinical research preferred.
