Financial Management

• Play a key role in formulating and implementing accounting policies and procedures in accordance with CAS (Charity Accounting Standards) and relevant statutory requirements.

The English enrichment centre was founded in 2014 with a vision to deliver exceptionally effective lessons that help to build a strong foundation in the English language and nurture writing skills in young students.

From just 12 students and 1 branch in Lorong Ah Soo, Singapore, Write Edge has since expanded to 8 physical branches,1 online arm in both Singapore and Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

Office Administrative Matters

• Collate staff or director’s expense claims;
• Provide ad hoc support around office as needed;
• Maintain proper filing system, including data management and file sharing;
• Any other duties assigned, etc
• Conduct market research activities
• Collate and/or compile reports;
• Design simple collaterals with templates given
• Assist with any organisation or government claims, applications

Administration / secretarial support to the organisation

• Ensuring a smooth workflow in the office;
• Ordering of pantry items and stationery or related supplies
• Checking of real estate inventory for Write Edge expansion
• Communicating and liaising within the company and with outside parties;
• Handling of all correspondences;
• Handling of confidential matters/documents;
• Assist to set up new offices or centres
• Arrange courier or moving services whenever required
• Provide assistance to team to maintain meticulous records in Google drive
• Offer support to the leadership team with regards to administrative tasks when required

Administration / secretarial support to Director:

• Assist with screening of resumes of roles interviewed by Director
• Assist with preparation of Appraisal, processes or any projects helmed by director
• Scheduling of meetings, appointments and ad hoc arrangements;
• Taking meeting minutes;
• Organise and schedule internal / external meetings and company townhalls, events;
• Procurement of company-related collaterals and inventory

Skills Required:

• At least Diploma & above or equivalent experience
• Highly proficient in written and spoken English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Enthusiastic, results-oriented and able to work independently
• Tech-savvy (i.e. able to use or able to quickly learn learn how to operate various applications such as Zoom, Mailchimp, Canva, Google Workspace)

Responsibilities:

-Process customer/vendor invoices and other related transactions

-Handle staff’s queries of the expense claims and ensure compliance

-Assist in all transactions under AR/AP to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner

-Assist in the administration and banking matters of the office

-Support monthly and year-end closing activities

-Provide and execute a full range of organisational support services to meet the day-to-day and ad-hoc activities of Accounts Department

Requirements:

-Minimum O levels and above with a basic understanding of accounting.

-Knows Microsoft office (Words, Excel, Outlook etc)

Remuneration:

-Basic salary: $2000-$2300 (Depending on experience and qualification)

-Working hours: 8.30AM-5.30PM (Monday to Friday)

The candidate will work closely with clinical investigators and senior faculty in high value health economic research endeavors and perform a variety of functions, such as:

• Conduct econometric and statistical analyses,
• Build economic models to support health technology assessments,
• Assist in survey development and analysis, and
• Manage behavioral economics trials.
• The candidate will also lead or assist in Preparation of manuscripts, grant applications, and intermediary outputs in support of the above projects.

Job Requirements

• PhD or equivalent in economics, health services research, health policy or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct econometric analyses and/or build models for health technology assessments.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with a wide range of people, including clinicians and other health care professionals.
