THE ROLE
The person will report to the Managing Director based in Singapore and be responsible for the company's Finances, Human Resources, and office administration.
This role is for a professional with SFRS knowledge.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Finance Accounting
- Keep full sets of accounts in MYOB software, including financial records maintenance.
- Handle accounting functions and duties, including accounts receivables, accounts payables, general ledger, accounts and intercompany reconciliations, and other required reporting schedules.
- Monitoring and reporting on budgets, including weekly cash flow forecasting.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly and year-end financial reporting.
- Prepare and submission of quarterly GST filing.
- Prepare and support the creation of statutory financial statements according to accounting standards.
- Liaise with external entities such as banks, auditors, company's secretary and local tax and government authorities.
Human Resources
- Timely processing of employee payroll, claims and submission of CPF and yearly IR8A.
- Managing employee leave processes, updating and administering company policies.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Office Administration
- Ensuring the smooth running operation of the office to create a positive and conducive work environment for the team.
- Any other administrative duties may be performed as instructed by the Managing Director.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Accountancy with equivalent accounting qualification.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in accounting, human resources as well as managing office administration.
- At least 6 years of working experience, handling full sets of accounts independently.
- Proficiency in MYOB accounting software and Microsoft computer skills.
- Strong organisational skills, meticulous, prioritization abilities, and excellent communication skills.
