The Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) Programme aims to pioneer the development and discovery of new and more effective methods for the treatment, prevention and control of new and emerging pathogens. The key outcome of the research will be the early identification of new pathogens, out of which new diagnostic tests, treatments and control strategies will be developed.

The laboratory of Immunotherapy in HBV Infection within the EID Programme is focused on the study of immune response of Hepatitis B and the liver microenvironment. Climate change is the defining challenge of our time, shaping the health of populations for generations to come. Purpose of the post

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Class 3 Certificate of Competency (CoC) issued by a recognized maritime authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of seagoing experience as a senior officer, with command experience preferred.
