Job Description
The Project Manager will be supporting Director with work across the Asia Clean Energy
Summit, Asia Carbon Summit, digital and regional events with responsibility to deliver all
aspects of conference across the programme lifecycle.
• The manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets and creating and
maintaining relationships within the industry.
• Ensuring in coordination of successful execution of projects assigned within time
limits.
• Oversee project execution and monitoring of project budget along with other
administration required.
• Liaise and coordinate with related parties on project progression.
• In-depth industry research and development to outline a commercially successful
conference programme.
• Development and management of new and existing relationships with relevant
market stakeholders
• Researching and providing strategic and market information to marketing and sales
functions in terms of sector and geographic markets including value propositions,
competitive events analysis and market mapping information
• Speaker identification and acquisition of both technical and strategic (including csuite) industry influencers and business leaders.
• Conducting in-depth telephone, face to face and desktop research with potential
attendees, speakers and sponsors in the target market to develop commercially viable
agendas and relevant formats to drive participant ROI.
• Continued speaker engagement to ensure successful onsite delivery.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job specifications
• Strong command of spoken & written English required.
• Organised with effective time management skills.
• Ability to build productive business relationships.
• Able to multi-task and provide good standard of support in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding of sustainability sector will be an advantage.
• Conflict resolution skills
• MS Office proficiency
• Ability to write commercially attractive and industry accurate copy for conference agendas, newsletter articles, team briefings and marketing sales collaterals for our communities to promote sessions and attract an audience of paying delegates.
