Key Responsibilities

Sales & Financial Management

• Sales Performance: Monitor and drive restaurant sales to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting, cost control, ensuring profit margins are maintained.
• Inventory Control: Manage stock levels and supplier relationships to optimise cost and minimise wastage.

Staff Management

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of restaurant staff, ensuring high morale and productivity.
• Staff Scheduling: Oversee staff scheduling and ensure adequate manpower during peak hours, balancing labor costs and operational needs.
• Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and address any staff issues or disciplinary matters.

Operations & Controls

• Quality Control: Maintain consistent quality standards across all aspects of food service, from kitchen preparation to front-of-house service
• Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations in accordance with Singapore's regulatory standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained and that any repairs are completed in a timely manner.

Customer Service

• Customer Experience: Ensure a top-notch dining experience for customers by maintaining high standards of service throughout.
• Feedback Implementation: Actively seek and respond to customer feedback, using it to make improvements in operations and service quality.
• Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues professionally, working to resolve them swiftly.

Job Requirements

• Commit 48-hour 5 day work week
• Comfortable with working on public holidays and weekends when necessary
• At least 3 years of experience within the F&B FOH sector would be highly advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a 6-months contract (maternity cover).

• Plan, manage, review and implement all aspects of exhibition fabrications, design, technical drawings and operations relating to the realise of the exhibitions.

• Manage and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including artists, curators, fabricators, qualified person (QP), exhibition and graphic designers for the exhibition setup.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget in accordance to the safety, design and material specifications.

• Handle all necessary administration duties, including procurement of goods, preparation of Tender documents, Bill of Quantities and Purchase Requisition for the setting up of the exhibitions.

• Analysing and managing production risks, monitor progress and provide alternative solutions such as sourcing of appropriate materials and relevant vendors.

• Review and keep up with current trends and best practices that may have an impact on exhibition planning, logistics, fabrication and design related issues.

• Onsite supervision during exhibition setup and manage day-to-day operations, including repairs to exhibition builds.

• Perform other roles, such as duty manager role for exhibition checks, and/or store inventory when required.

• Occasion late night/weekend works as and when necessary.

• Performs other ad-hoc assignment when required.

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Architecture related field with 2 3 years relevant working experience in museums or related industry.

• Familiarisation of government agency act or regulations e.g. BCA, SCDF, workplace safety requirements.

• Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Teams) for daily work.

• Able to understand technical drawings and proficiency in AutoCAD and edit CAD drawings.

• Self-motivated, responsible, driven, resourceful, a good team player and able to multi-task and adapt work approaches to the situations.

• Good knowledge in choice of materials, budget and quality control, resources planning and on-site operations.

• Ability to pay attention to details and handle administrative work.

• Experience with installing large scale public artwork is an added advantage.

· Ensuring that all security staff are trained on policies and procedures including conflict resolution techniques

· Maintaining good relationships with local law enforcement agencies to ensure they can be called upon in case of an emergency

· Interviewing potential employees to determine whether they have the right qualifications and experience for the job

· Ensuring that nightclub security personnel are trained in conflict resolution methods and laws regarding the use of force

· Overseeing the financial operations of the nightclub to ensure compliance with industry standards

· Determining the number of employees needed to run the business efficiently and effectively

· Coordinating the entertainment schedule with the DJ and other staff members, such as security guards or event coordinators

· Overseeing the hiring process for new employees to ensure that they meet all requirements

· Discussing any concerns patrons might have with security staff and resolving issues if possible

Responsibilities

· Listen to customers’ preference and recommend suitable hairstyle, colouring and treatment

· Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, colouring, perming, rebonding, etc

· Train, lead and motivate all staff to ensure smooth running of daily operations in an energetic environment

· Maintain cordial relationship with customers, build up customer base and ensure customers’ retention

· Ensure all staff uphold the highest standard of customers’ service and cleanliness

· Handle customers’ complaints and feedback professionally

· Maintains supplies by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing orders; verifying receipt.

· Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.

· Maintains safe and healthy conditions by following organization standards and legal regulations.

· The ability to communicate with customers and understand their needs

· Knowledge of related health, safety and cleanliness standards
