Job Responsibilities:
● Ability to teach designing and creating high-quality 3D character animations establishing workflows, and setting quality standards
● Ability to teach how to complete the entire process from 3D character animation design to final implementation in student projects, including but not limited to basic and performance animations, facial animations, interactive actions, and transitions between animations
● Ability to teach and rig 3D characters
● Ability to collaborate with the character and Technical Art (TA) teams to optimise the emotional expression of characters
● Ability to teach at higher education level and fulfill all the necessary
administrative requirements of academic teaching and learning
Requirements:
● Over 5 years of experience in 3D character animation, with a good sense of motion aesthetics; experience with stylized animation is preferred
● Familiar with Unreal Engine (UE); Blender; Unity; Adobe Character Animator; Animate; Toon Boom Harmony; Stable Diffusion; Chatgpt Token (There is no need to know all, but a good variety of skills are preferred)
● Strong understanding of human anatomy and structure, with extensive experience in using the rhythm of body movements to express emotions
● Proficient in designing and creating facial expressions
● Familiar with the entire 3D character animation pipeline and related tools
● Strong emotional perception, with a well-rounded knowledge base and generalist skills, especially in filmic storyboarding and camera language
