Introduction

The Renaissance Engineering Programme is NTU’s flagship engineering programme that aims to nurture engineering leaders with an entrepreneurial spirit to serve society. The programme covers a broad spectrum of multidisciplinary subjects bridging engineering, business and humanities.

The incumbent will work closely with faculty members to manage efforts in the use of learning technology in both online and offline learning environments and to support the team-based learning pedagogy for REP courses.

Responsibilities

Manage Team-based Learning (TBL) for REP courses

• Facilitate TBL sessions using software and providing in-class support
• Work with curriculum experts and faculty to ensure that the TBL materials that are developed are aligned to the learning outcomes of the relevant modules
• Provide curriculum support to faculty in the area of using different technology mode for the lesson plan
• Engage faculty to explore possibilities of TBL development for their courses and recommend approaches and solutions for the courses

Communication and outreach

• Work closely with student/alumni ambassadors and relevant departments on external university-wide outreach events and activities
• Assist with the various communication and publicity materials e.g, e-newsletters, e-brochures, videos

General safety and facilities management

• Act as the safety representative for the department and be in charge of safety communications
• Provide facilities support, including maintenance, for teaching facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards
